Although the price is right and this cord is a perfect size for jewelry making, the moldy, foul odor demanded it be thrown away. Unless you think stringing something for a young woman to wear to keep males away is a good idea, stay away from this source. The smell got on clothing and filled the entire room the cord on cardboard was stored in.

I was excited to fix my necklace using this leather but on two occasions within two months the leather cord broke. Very poor quality. Spend the extra money and get quality leather.

I bought this to use for necklace string that broke. I have bought similar cord in the past for a necklace I have worn for over 10 years. In the past, the cord has generally lasted at least 6 months before breaking. This cord only lasts about a month before breaking. It's incredibly flimsy. Don't waste your money on this, go to a craft store and buy better quality cord.

This is an inexpensive cord. I had hoped to use it for my pendants which I sell. It was easy to thread, cut and tie. However, there was a smell to it. The smell permeated my craft room. It was something akin to mold or old. I can't place it. I have considered washing it, but, ending up buying another type of cord.

High hopes, but the leather had an overpowering smell of mildew. At first I thought it was just leather-processing/plastic packaging off-gassing, however the smell never abated. I rubbed it with essential oils and the mildew smell was just as strong. I thought- oh, I could wash it with the organic odor-destroying spray I use for pet smells, then decided to go to a local craft store to get a replacement.

this might be better for a necklace but for a bracelet with jasper beads it wore out very fast and broke.

Very disappointed. Very bad smell. We had to throw it away because it put out such a rank stench. Almost like a gas.

Cheap, fell apart after a couple weeks of my husband wearing it. If you’re braiding a bunch of strands together, it would probably be okay.

I thought it was going to be thicker and when I tried to put my pendant on it and tieit, it broke. Tried several times until I gave up. Pain to return, so lesson learned. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

A good buy and great value

I bought this to make a new necklace for my talisman. Even 2 strands of this band can be broken easily by hand. It's not strong at all and I won't be trusting a treasured possession to this material.

False advertisement this is plastic not leather. If you slightly tug on it it breaks.
