Cheap quality
Ok so this is a very cheap slotted spoon and you get what you pay for but the biggest issues with this is I found the handle is plastic and melts if you touch the hot side of a pan and secondly it's dead straight which is fine for a stirring spoon but in order to be able to effectively scoop things out of the pan there needs to be a slight angle between the handle and the spoon part.
