I have used smaller bags in the past without any freezer bags and had to use it for strictly transporting my food from home to work. Then I had to place the food in a fridge. With this new bag, I do not have to place anything in the fridge. The ice packs keep your food cold just like a fridge! I am always skeptical of these types of products, but I am now a believer in this bag! I have not had that much time with the bag yet so I cannot comment on durability. This bag comes with food prep containers that work well and as advertised. So far, I am enjoying it. I just bought my wife the same brand bag but for a three meal. Great product!Updated:Still a great product, but dissapointed that it is more expensive here on Amazon, even though it is sold by Isolator Fitness through Amazon. My boyfriend and I both have one of these. They will keep your food cold for a long time...we work 12 hour shifts and the ice packs are still cold by the time we get home. They will fit two of the big containers, or three small containers plus you have tons of storage room...

I travel for work and use this bag for every trip. I LOVE the side opening panel because if I want something from the bottom, I don't need to dig everything out. all the compartments are insulated to keep things that are cold, cool.The top compartment is a little awkward with the added strap that you need to unbuckle to open all the way, but its not a big deal and I have gotten used to it. You can still open it half way for quick access. I use that space for condiments, utensils and napkins.I bought my own glass containers because I use a hot logic to cook my meals with but the containers that come with it seem like they would work really well in this bag.Its a great bag, I get lots of compliments on it and cant recommend it enough. I wish I could get a commission on selling these bags! They are great!

The best meal management system thus far. Room for food is exceptional. Stitching is perfect. I can tell this will last a very long time. Perfect for law enforcement who need something to hold food for long periods of time. Freeze packs fit perfectly and food stays cold for hours.

The best lunch bag I have purchased so far. The food containers and ice packs that came with it was very helpful. I purchased it in November and still loving it. Plenty of room for your food and other misc stuff. Very durable.

This bag was a gift from my family and I love it. But the containers are flimsy. So dump them first chance you get. Luckily the glass and plastic containers I use now will fit just nicely even with the ice packs. I like having the two receptacles on the side for bottle water or cans, etc. For such a pricey bag I'm surprised by the lack of quality for the containers.

The bag legit keeps your food cold for 8hours. I took it to the beach at the Dominican Republic, the hot sun was beating down on the bag for the whole day and my food was chill af. I even bought this bag for a bodybuilding friend of mine, and he loves it!
