Best Shoe Ever
For me, the Skecher Afterburn SlipOn is the most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned. I have purchased 3 pairs in the last two months. I was concerned that Sketcher would discontinue the model by the time that I require new shoes. They are extremely comfortable. the five elastic bands across the top, keep the shoe perfectly snug. The memory foam insole is great. My only complaint and it is very small, is that when slipping on the shoes, the back of the shoe sometimes rolls in. I then have to stick my finger in and lift it out. Not a big deal. Also, these shoe have a much more resilient and firm sole, unlike many of skecher's models. They are non slip and I expect to get excellent wear from them.

A great value
Fit is tight when first put on with reasonably thin socks. If you want to wear thicker socks, increase the size by 1/2. I wanted them to walk to the mail box with very good lateral stiffness at the heel as I do not want to twist my ankle with slip-ins. They are very well made for the cost. The loop at the back of the shoe should be larger so you can get your finger int it to help pull it ups.It is way too small to do that. I may use a shoe horn to make the situation easier to deal with. There is a tradeoff between being tight and putting hem on quickly and easier. The shoehorn is the best solution in my case.A very well made shoe for the cost.

Comfortable shoe for a 12 year old boy
It is very hard to find a size 6.5 for boys. The big boys' sizes usually only go to size 6, if you are lucky, and it is very hard to find a 6.5 in the men's department. I purchased a 6.5 in the black/gray. I was happy to find these because they check all the boxes;1. true to size and medium width 2. no shoe strings to tie 3. nice looking 4. comfortable 5. Good price. These shoes have a soft sole unlike so many shoes these days that are hard as a rock. My 12 year old puts some miles on his shoes and he deserves to have comfortable shoes. Best of all, he loves them!

Easy to wear
I bought the shoes on the recommendation of my doctor after having leg and edema in both feet for almost a year. The first attempt to put them on didn’t work out too well - just couldn’t get either one on and was about to give up and send them back. A couple days later i came across my shoehorn and decided to give it another try. Still a little difficult but I managed to get one on, the other just wouldn’t go but, since that foot has more swelling, I was determined. After a closer look at the shoe I saw it has elastic bands along the tongue so I cut the top band, tried again, and voila, it fit. After wearing a few times they have become more comfortable and I’m glad I, for once, followed doc’s advice.

Fits perfect
I have wide feet, so its nice to see that Skechers has a Wide range of sneakers.Cheap, comfortable, casual. I love them.My only issue is and with all sneakers is the lack of arch support. That should be the next big thing with SkechersHave versions of: X-WIDE and ARCH supports built in.

Enter...The Miracle Shoe!
So I suffered from untreated diabetes until lately (A story for another day). As a result, I'm the proud recipient of diabetic neuropathy. For those unfamiliar, this is an incredibly painful disorder that causes nerve damage through your legs, feet and arms. Walking can be excruciating. Standing is unbearable at times. It was recommended that I get diabetic shoes. I wasn't excited about sporting "Frankenstein" shoes as most diabetic shoes - let's face it- look horrible. And priced anywhere from $150 and up didn't light my fires either. Then I found these....They weren't listed as "Diabetic Footwear", but I read reviews and they sounded like they might do the trick. And at a third of the price, I figured it was worth a shot.To my amazement- a DAY AFTER wearing these, I felt like running! It was like having a cushion or anti-fatigue mat strapped to my feet. I'm on my feet a good 4+ hours a day at work and now my feet don't feel it at all. I still have the neuropathy. That's not going anywhere. But these Sketcher's have given me a relief I didn't think I'd get from a shoe.Solid fit, GREAT style shoe and ultimate comfort.

???????
Reason for trying before buying was this is my third pair. Pair one was great, pair two I couldn’t wear because of rough spot inside of left shoe. Never could get any response as to what to do with them. Still have them but can’t wear them. Didn’t want to waste the money on another pair if they were the same so I did the try before you buy and all is good.

Awesome shoes!
I have been looking for some time for a decent pair of slip-on (no laces) runner/hikers in my size (14xwide). Something that looks good, fits well, and doesn't break the bank. I am a large man, and I have some mobility issues, particularly with bending all the way over to tie the laces on a regular pair of shoes. As a result, I wanted something that I could easily slip on for short uses outside without having to go through that discomfort again and again. These Sketchers fit the bill (almost) perfectly. These are VERY nice and GREAT quality shoes! They are easy to slip on, yet fit snugly enough so as not to feel loose or floppy. They are exactly what I have been searching for, with one small issue only. I realise that obviously everyone's foot/fit is different, and my one complaint is that although these are indeed extra wide, they do not carry that width far enough down the bed of the shoe to be perfect for me. The toe bed narrows towards the tip more than I feel it should, and this is the only reason I cannot give 5 stars. I find that my toes are still a little stuffed together more than they should be for an Xwide. These are my 3rd differnt style of Sketchers, and I have found this same problem with all 3, to varying degrees. However, in this case, it is not enough of a discomfort that I am unwilling to continue wearing them, or even be willing to buy another pair. The icing on the cake is the price. For me to be able to find a pair of shoes I like the style of, in my size (and just about width) and type (slip-on) for $75 Canadian, is absolutely unheard of. I am pleasantly surprised and extremely happy, and as I said, we're it not for the toe bed being a bit narrow for me, I would give this purchase a solid 10 out of 5 stars.🙂

Fit as expected
I have no problem with the fit & finish, as these shoes (size 8) fit the same as all other shoes I have. Unsure how they might fit a year from now, but hopefully similarly to how they do now, as they are fairly stiff. No complaints, other than more colours of this shoe would be nice, as I might purchase more down the road. The sole has a good gripping to it, so I would think they would be good for light hiking, walking in the city or going to the gym.

Great value - slipon gives slighter looser fit
These shoes have the usual Skechers comfort and are fairly sturdy and I think very good value for money. Waterproofing would improve them especially as they are slip on and so there are few points where water can enter. The slip on fit means they are slightly less tight around the "throat" than lace ups giving a feeling of being about a half size too large (good for those with broader feet I imagine) although lengthwise they are a good fit so It's a question I think of getting used to their slighter looser fit.Update June 2022 - in my lazy way I've been putting these shoes on by pushing my foot. This has resulted in the material at the back of the shoe breaking and exposing the metal/stiff plastic support which blister my heel (photo not very clear but shows tear in the fabric where support pokes through and rubs the heel). I accept this is my fault but I'd expect manufacturers to anticipate and design for this? I'd buy again but be careful how I put them on (use a long shoe horn). Otherwise the shoe is sturdy and has worn well.

PEBBLE is not ugly.
Look good. I knew these ran large, which is why I ordered the proper size (I had tried them in store). Glad I was able to purchase on Amazon for a discount... Bro tells me the brand isn't known for long-lasting quality, so I may update if they explode on me...

ordered same pair twice and both times there were defects in the Right shoe
This was the second pair i bought from Amazon . First pair bought over a year ago fit perfectly but the next pair i bought were garbage major defect in the firs pair sent and returned only to have another defect in the second pair and no options to change size so took refund . Back to Mark's work warehouse for next pair ,at least you can try them on there and know they fit which is more convenient even with the slightly more cost . So here it is 3 months and still no sneakers Amazon is starting to sell poor quality products and it seems selling seconds for full price . Should have been suspicious when the price was half as much again for different colors or sizes .They are seconds plain and simple and their shipping promise for PRIME members is not honored anymore . The days of delivery in 3-4 days for Prime members is not honored anymore so not worth the trouble anymore .
