I'm very pleased with these lights. My father has worked in construction for 40 years & told me these are going in all over the place so I figured I'd give them a try. The 16 pack is a great value per light and since you decide how many to put in series I had enough for the living room & 2 additional rooms.Pros:Lights are very easy to installThe dimmability is inane and my wife's favorite part (from movie theatre lighting to daylight)Attractive lookDraws way less power than traditional lightingOverall Value vs other lighting optionsCons:You have to pick up some cable connectors (plastic is fine), they're only like a quarter a piece at the local hardware store, but it's something that could have easily been thrown in the box.The foam ring that sets between the light itself and the ceiling is very low quality and a bit of a pain to work with.Overall, once you put them up, the cons are completely irrelevant because you don't have to deal with those issues anymore.

I purchased 16 of these to replace fluorescent fixtures in my basement. Half of it has drop ceiling in the family room and a bedroom. The other half is open ceiling that is used for my furnace and utilities. I purchased a hole saw for the ceiling tile and it worked perfectly. In the open ceiling area, I cut some 12' X 17" pieces of ceiling tile and secured them to the bottom of the floor joists. They were so bright that I only installed 12 of them, leaving 4 in the box for "spares". Of the 12 I installed, I only had trouble with one connector lining up properly. With a few minutes of "friendly persuasion", I was able to coax it into place! I am absolutely amazed at the amount of light provided by these fixtures. To soften the light in the family room and bedroom areas, I installed a dimmer switch for each. Outstanding value. At my age, I won't worry about ever climbing the ladder to replace light bulbs again!

I highly recommend these lights. I put the first set in the bedroom and was super happy with the results. I have them on a remote dimmer. Don't use 5K for the bedroom though.... 4k would be a bit warmer which is what I just put in the living room and kitchen. I'll be putting these one's on a smart dimmer. I love the fact that you can install these lights underneath a 2x4 because they are so thin so you can pretty much put them where ever you want. I had 5 lights in the living room installed in 2 hours and 4 in the kitchen in 1.5 hrs including cleaning up the insulation that fell down.... EASY PEASY

Easy to install in remodel ceilings. Mounts directly into sheetrock or other 1/2" to 1" ceiling material. No need to locate ceiling joists the light will mount in 1/2" thick ceiling. The junction box will need additional space. The light output is great.Negatives: In new construction I have not found a good way to locate wiring in the precise location of the light. I mostly locate on floor and use laser after ceiling is installed. Single story attics are no problem when accessible. I have used over 100 of these lights and about 2 of the drivers have failed.

The lights were great for installation, looks, lumens, etc. I have 18 installed already. However, I have noticed after a couple of weeks of use, when a high energy device (Central A/C, Electric Water Heater, Electric in-line instant water heater, etc.) starts up, the in-rush current seems to affect these lights by creating a brief dip in the lumens. My guests have also noticed it. Overall, I’m happy with the lighting, but flickering / brightness dip may be an issue to some.

I purchased these for a basement finishing project and have been very impressed with the full spectrum and bright white light these generate. While I have been a bug fan, we bought a few extra to install in the upstairs hallway to better illuminate the area. Unfortunately, we found out that one of the junction boxes has proven less than ideal as it is not functioning. I have reached out for support, but have not yet received a response nor replacement. All in all, a good product for the money.

These lights are fabulous! We just installed 8 of these into our living room on one Leviton WiFi dimmer. Everyone of the holes we drilled were under rafter beams. All of our rafters were just off center of the holes and the lights fit perfectly with no issues. They snapped right into place! We followed an installers video recommendation and removed the gasket from each light so that they sit tighter to the ceiling. We are very happy with these lights. Highly recommended.

I remodel houses and these are great lights. I’ve used these lights on all of my jobs for the last six months. The sleek design allows you to forgot about ceiling joist locations because they will fit anywhere you cut out the hole. I’ve used numerous different dimmer switches with these and haven’t had any issues. Highly recommend.

These lights are fantastic! I've only installed 8 of them and still have half the basement to do. Wow! what a difference. I purchased these lights specifically after researching which lights are the best to use when shooting a video under them. Some LED lights leave this line across the screen, and these are not supposed to. I haven't shot anything yet, but will update the review if I have a different experience then I'm expecting.
