I needed a replacement cover for the boom microphone on the MaxQuall referee (and motorcycle) headsets.This item fits perfectly - both in terms of outside dimensions and also in terms of fit on the microphone (it's snug / tight- which it should be so that it doesn't fall off). I tried other mic covers that are 0.31 inches (the hole size), but they are too loose.

FIT-These windscreens do not completely cover the mic but it does cover the holes that intake noises. It being short on the mike does help when you coil the mic back into head set and prevents the windscreen from getting smushed. The mic is very snugged within the windscreen and does not fall off or move around. PERFORMANCE-I still had to adjust mic sensitivity but gets the job done whenever I play with my fan on. The mic will pick up aggressive exhales but will not pick up casual breathing. Does not pick up noise from out side of room but does pick up loud noises from within the room. For example, it picks up the oinks my dog makes when she is excited when she is in my room, but does not pick up her snores. It does not get in the way of your peripheral vision when playing. Does not interfere with the way you sound or cause noises from being on the mic. A plus for the individual on the opposite side of the mic, if you accidentally tap the mic on a surface, it will not cause a loud noise on the receiving end. Also, prevents echoing from your headset. MY OPINION- It is very well worth the price for coming with a total of 5. I do wish the windscreen was wider in length with material and keeping the same hole size, but it is a good overall product and gets the job done.

This product does a good job at canceling wind noise. I bought these as an accessory to my Sony ECM-CS3 stereo microphones and they work great. I strapped my camera and the microphone with the foam boots installed to my car and drove around. The foam socks didn't blow off either!! The sound quality was still high and the wind noise was near non existent. In full exposure to wind, you will get some wind noise but I suppose total noise in high, direct wind exposure situations is unavoidable. The only small gripe I had for this product is the pricing. For only five of these small, I think a more proper price would be more like $2.99 instead of $5.99, but I'm always willing to pay for something that works and these work well, and have pretty goof material strength and quality. They go on tight with a small stretch and they make your microphones look fantastic and professional. In my case, I used 2 of the foams on the left and right speakers for the Sony ECM-CS3 and it looks great. I will buy more of these for my other microphones to keep them in handy in case I loose them because they are very light, small and can get away if the wind blows. I recommend for everyone to buy these.

These are probably great windscreens as long as they fit.These do not fit the Mic J 044.I like the feel of the foam over the ones included with the Mic J 044, but could not try them for audio quality as they are not elastic and will not fit over the mic housing.I purchased these at a recommendation from Amazon when buying the Mic J 044, and a review on a separate site saying the Mic J 044 did not include windscreens. (The Mic J 044 does include 2 windscreens.)The Tetra-Teknica MNWS5P windscreens are also about twice as long as would have been needed for the Mic J 044.I should have researched the size better before purchasing.I have included photos showing the size difference. The 2nd photo has had contrast adjusted to better see the difference in size of the holes on the windscreens.

This mini-size lapel mic cover is a perfect fit for lapel mics. I have the audio technica lapel mic and it fit on there very snugly. I use it in high wind environments so I applied some glue to my lapel mic and then put this on. I have had no issues with the quality of this product. It's made from very strong material allowing you to securely fit it on a lapel mic. I don't think it would come off easily like the one that came with my lapel mic did. I was surprised at this products elasticity. Have been using it everyday and it helps cut out breathing and wind noise almost completely. This is a definite must for a lapel mic. This mini-size or the other size should be bought from this vendor/amazon without a doubt.

I use a computer headset every day at work and found my new software provided improved audio quality, but I was getting a lot of popping on the mic when I spoke. I purchased these windscreens for my Lenovo headset (pictured) and was pleased to find that they slide right on and fit perfectly without falling off. They're not too bulky, and now I get little to no popping noise. The 5-pack is nice to have a few extras, and they did arrive in the ziploc style bag pictured for easy storage.

Listen, I'm not a hater. I like the product. It feels nice, good quality, fits nicely. The only problem is that it fixes nothing. A pop filter is supposed to suppress some of the "popping" sounds from 'b' to 'p' words/sounds. It does nothing.What is the point of making a pop filter when we still hear popping.

Fits like a glove. Put on my Turtle Beach gaming headset and it did the job. For good measure I slid a second one over, no tears and it works even better. Great quality little things.

I am constantly looking for better accessories for my professional equipment. These work pretty good to cut wind noise on my Sennheiser lav mic. I had to trim a little off to make them fit but they work perfect after that. VITV.ca recommends these.

The sizing pictured was just perfect!

Used for headset microphones. The v moda boom and antlion mod mic. Doesn't deflect breathing all that great if you have the mic jammed in your nostrils but definitely stops pops.
