In all, I really like it, as it is well made and serves the purposes I bought it for. I first bought this basket to cook potatoes in for mashed potatoes or potato salad in my Instant Pot and it works great for that. It lets me strain out the water after the cooking is done. I have also used it as a colander and was great for that too. Lastly, it doesn't take up too much room, as it collapses to save space.

I have a 6.5qt. Foodi 14 in 1. I have tried several other silicone steamers + a wire basket. This is the best! The basket is not a snug fit & there’s a reason. The bottom is a bit smaller & tapers down in size. It is adjustable which is a big plus. At first I didn’t like the tapered bottom until I figured out it worked & fit perfectly with the bottom ring collapsed & the stainless steel rack sits on top & then legs fit easily around the steamer bottom. It was exactly what I was looking for.I like to cook two layer meals.. The reversible stainless rack fits easily underneath this steamer with it collapsed 1 level. I steam veggies in the steamer & cook fish on the rack. It works great. That not the case with the other silicone or wire steamers I tried.It folds flat to store. Cleans easily. No odor. It’s a bit thicker than others & isn’t floppy or flimsy feeling. I’ve used it to air fry on high heat with no problems. The handle feels sturdy. It’s definitely worth the extra $$.

I've never used the Instant Pot much for steaming because it is awkward to remove the basket. I've used a regular stainless steamer basket as well as a silicone basket with sling handles -- a pork roast slide out of the silicone basket because of the low sides (luckily landed on the stove & not the floor!). Then I found this wonderful, easy to use basket & I love everything about it! It is so easy to remove any food from the Instant Pot as soon as the lid opens & NOTHING spells out because of the high sides. The collapsibility makes it easy to store & it fits perfectly in the dishwasher for easy cleaning. If you use an Instant Pot you need this wonderful steaming basket.

it's good product but there are remained the stain. I was just steam the egg with the salt.

I have a 6qt Instant Pot and the original Ninja Foodi (don't ask). This fits both of them and is the best steamer basket I've used for either appliance.The fact that it collapses for storage is another big plus.I've not had any issues with it at all.Highly recommend this for both Instant and Foodi.

Spent ages researching these. This is what you need to know. Firstly, this is made with good grade silicone with no fillers. Secondly, it is very firm which makes it easy and safe to use when it is full of hot food. It collapses and opens easily and is a breeze to clean by hand. Not willing to put it in the dishwasher but haven't felt the need to as it is so quick and easy to clean with no retention of odours. Love the firm handle which folds up and down as needed. Thrilled with my purchase.

Pros:-This Collapsible Silicone Steamer Basket has replaced 3 devices in my kitchen, and that it collapses means I have more room in my cupboards, which is always welcome-It fits perfectly in my 6 quart InstantPot and has enough room for a full meal, unlike some other options-I also used with my Joule Sous Vide to hard boil eggs, lowering in and retrieving from the water with easeCons (only minor ones):-Wish there were other colors-Short grain rice gets stuck in the holes

When I bought this product I felt like I would have been such a newb, but to my surprise, it was so easy to use! Clean up was a sinch and it collapses for optimal storage, which is necessary if you live in a tight space. I only wished it would come in multiple colors, but that won't stop me from recommending it.

Use it for steaming veggies in instant pot, also bought it as a reviewer said it doubles great as a colander. It's very sturdy and collapses nicely which is great in a small space. I use it to strain black beans, chickpeas and veggies. Its pretty much perfect, except that some of the holes in the base of it didn't get fully punched out when it was manufactured, which makes it pretty tricky to clean out when it has something grittier in it like the leftover water from black beans.

I will state I did not buy to use in an instant pot so I can't speak to its use in that capacity. I did buy it to use as a regular steamer basket and it works perfectly. Big enough to take all the shrimp I wanted to steam and the handle makes it so easy to take in and out of the pot.

Folds to 1.5 inches. Very practical; more so than metal steamers. Offers more room and sturdier handle. Won't rust. Can steam fish, veggies, make caramel, etc...
