Amazon Basics 14-Gauge Speaker Wire - 100-Foot, 5-Pack

Quality speaker wire offered at a competitive price. There's no reason to pay high dollar for plain ol speaker wire. The Amazonbasics speaker wire is perfect. It cuts and twists clean. The sound quality is superb with zero interference or feedback through the wires. Definitely a high quality product from Amazon. I would recommend this gauge speaker wire to anyone who is looking for a basic speaker wire for home theater systems or any other project of the sort that requires basic speaker wire. The speaker wire came nicely wound up with 50 feet in the coiled spool with no tangles and it is also easily storable due to the spool that the speaker wire arrives on. Definitely a high quality product that is offered from Amazonbasics. Highly recommend!

Why use 18 AWG cable for your speakers when you can use something with 60% less resistance? The cost difference is negligible and this cable is a lot more durable. Makes much better connections, too. I found this cable to be very flexible and it is well-marked for polarity.

I'm not an audiophile but i know the sound I'm looking for. First off, these are only copper clad as I saw a lot of people asking if this was the case. I bought the 5 pack which is 5 spools of 100ft and yes, it is 5 x 100 ft spools. The quality of the strands seems OK to me. They aren't brittle as one comment I saw. Insulation is nice and thick and with it being clear it blends in to my hardwood floors around the edges i have it running. I have a 7.1 setup and have multiple long runs and have not experienced any sound quality issues. It's definitely worth the value.

Cable came as advertised, is working well and has been going strong for about 5 months now. Decent buy.

Perfect for what I needed

I thought it was going to be the thin strand of wire with a thick casing, but the wire is very thick and solid.Perfect for higher quality car door/rear deck mids and tweets, or some 8" mid-bass.I'm pretty picky about the wire I run my mids and tweets with. I am always hesitant about buying speaker wire online because it's usually a few gauges smaller than what is advertised, so I end up going to the local shops where they rape my wallet by the foot. I took a chance on this spool of wire and was surprised to find that it was way better than what I believed I was going to get.It was a great purchase and I will definitely buy again.

Amazon does it again with another high-quality basic product. I am not sure what to say about this item. It is speaker cable and it does what it is supposed to do. The quality seems to be high and the speaker wire is the appropriate size (as advertised). Is it the cheapest speaker wire available? Certainly not. But it is a good product nonetheless.

This is not pure copper but rather is CCA (copper coated aluminum). But, unless your sound system costs more than your car, it will provide excellent performance while saving a good amount of money. I'm using this for relatively short runs to surround speakers and it's working just as well as the full copper wire I'm using with other speakers.The jacket is thick but retains a decent amount of bendability for a 14g wire. No problems stripping the wire ends for connections. Great value for the price.
