Really easy to build and it’s a great new addition to our living room

An unusual staggered small shelf unit which looks nice. Easy to assemble without too much effort; the screw system works well. It is sturdy within its limitations and the aesthetics are pleasing as it holds bric-a-brac in a neat way.

Easy to put together, looks nice, really handy for storing my bits & pieces at the side of my sofa, shame they didn't have one in black.

Great little side table and a great size just right for my armchair as a perfect place for my cup of tea and TV remotes and books plus looks nice and is sturdy, it's a nice change from having coffee tables especially if you don't have the space . Recommended to all .

I can recommend the Hocus Picus 2 tier end side table. It arrived well packaged with added crumple zones within the box to protect against any potential transit damage. I found the table very easy to assemble with clear instructions, the whole process took me about 20 minutes. The table is perfect for what we wanted, a small side table to fit in a gap between two chairs, and the height is ideal. I did notice in other reviews that there was a mention of two problems, and I can elaborate on those. Firstly one review said the item was dusty, and in fact I did find a trace amount of wood dust on the pieces, but in my case I had to look carefully to notice it. The instructions do say to wipe the panels with a damp cloth before assembly so I did that. Secondly, another review said the item was wobbly. I found the opposite, for me it is solid and firm, with no wobble at all. The instructions show how much to turn the tightening clamps, and there is a small arrow head on them to guide you so that you can turn them exactly the right amount.

This is slim, effective and looks smart. Ideal for the ends of the sofa just where you want to put your drink for easy reaching.

First problem with this is the price. Why is it so expensive? you can get draws/tables for half the price and they're bigger. My problem was needing a small table to sit in a tight (which required exactly 20cm). I had no choice but to get this, were there other tables like this, I'd go for that. That said, that brings the second issue. The wood quality. It seems quite solid from the outside, but visually it has some issues. It came dusty and a little dirty, very clearly was something just sitting on a shelf to gather dust. I don't react well to dust so this was on the verge of being a nightmare had I not noticed. The instructions had one issue where it requires a part you built to be built again? (Which it doesn't by the way). But the final issue with it is a bizarre one because of its parts... it's wobbly. I've tightened everything as much as I can and it still wobbles. So this isn't suitable for multiple cups of coffee and magazines/books for example. It will wobbe and possibly collapse and split the wood. Then there's the few positives. Big positive is it only requires an allen key which it comes with to assemble. It hasn't got too many parts (compared to other builds). It's only 7 steps. It's also fairly quick to build, took me about 30 minutes but I am a bit slower than other people, I Imagine this could be built faster. Finally the aesthetics. It's very pleasing to the eye. The packaging is also very reasonably sized and protected. It's better than others I've had. Overall, gets the job done, but it had a surprising more cons than it should have, especially at this price range. Just beware of its setbacks. Biggest one to me is the stability.

Looks really nice and is so handy for the side of the sofa where you dont have room for a nest of tables. Comes flat packed, with easy to follow instructions. I built it in around 10 - 15 mins max - for context I'm not a joiner and use a computer all day for my day job!

L'ho montato oramai da diversi mesi e devo dire che è un discreto prodotto. Ha la giusta robustezza per cui, per l'utilizzo che ne faccio, senza caricarlo di pesi eccessivi, ha una ottima resa. Facile da montare, che non guasta...
