Something kids and adults can enjoy at the same time!
I purchased this set for my nieces who love arts and crafts. They absolutely loved using it and challenging themselves with the more difficult shapes. They are ages 4 and 6 at the time. I also purchased a set for my middle school students that range from 5th - 8th grade. My students loved using the set and made some great stuff. I also tried out a few designed and I enjoyed the challenge. This is truly something for all ages.....something kids and adults can enjoy at the same time!

A little complicated, but good
My daughter loves it, but has found some of the instructions complicating. She is slowly getting it and enjoying it more and more. The fact that it comes with paper is awesome though! I recommend it, but not for young kids.

He has had a great time learning the different designs
We bought this for our 11 year old nephew. He has had a great time learning the different designs. The instructions are very clear and the assortment of paper is great.

Nicely packaged; poor instructions
I have done simple origami for several years. I was going to send this box to my 8-year old nephew but decided to open the box and inspect the book to see what I was sending. I'm glad I did. The booklet has many diagrams using the standard origami fold symbols, without ANY explanation of how to do these folds or what the fold symbols mean. Nice variety of papers in different patterns and sizes. Much better to buy some standard 6-inch origami paper online and a book such as Montroll's "Easy Origami" if you are purchasing this for a beginner, such as a child.
