This book is very detailed and just a great tool for those who have been out of school for a long while. This book helps tremendously.

I felt this book was relatively light and shallow. One of those "skim it if you got it" kind of books. In other words, take a quick look at it if you happen to come across a free copy, but would not go out of my way to buy it.The memory section, for example, focuses only on mnemonics, says nothing about the need for interval spaced repetition or practicing free or cued recall.The chapter on Read with Purpose would benefit from further examples of and emphasis on conceptual learning.

So many books with the same title. This one wasn't the one I was looking for.

This book read as if it were just telling you the problems you have, yet no solutions.
