If you're looking for locks to prevent theft of valuable items, you should probably keep looking. These are more of a "keep honest people honest" kind of a lock. I bought them to lock gun cases so they are legal to transport, and they're great for that. The procedure to set the combination is very simple, and I like that I can set them the same so I only have to remember one combo.

These are perfect for my locker at work. Easy to set a new combo. The best part is I can “dummy” lock it and it stays closed. Nobody knows it’s still unlocked.I highly recommend!!!

I got these for a gym locker at my uni which is behind a card access only area, so I use these more as a reminder/marker of where I put my stuff, I don't expect these to hold up at all when someone wants to steal your things.
