We have chair exercises 2 times a week and us 3 of her dvds. Really enjoy them

Customizable workout for anyone
Several years ago we used these DVDs in an exercise class. Everyone had fun. You can stand up and run in place while you do them, or sit and do the exercises to your comfort level. (We even had a woman in our early 90s who did this with us 3 times a week, She could walk without a cane or a walker, and did all her own housework.)It isn’t about getting every movement precisely right, but more about continuing to move and stretch. Yet, just like with dance, learning any new pattern is good for your brain.I thought these DVDs were so well designed to build strength and keep flexible that I ordered several of them recently for myself — and I remember why I enjoyed them.

Fun chair exercise

This really works!
I am not able to do most exercises, even walking, due to an ankle injury. So, I decided to try this DVD to see if it would help me burn a few calories and strengthen my muscles. It does. I can't believe I actually have biceps again and I am losing inches on my waist. The DVD is 25 minutes long and works pretty much all of your muscles, head to toe. I just moved up with my weights, so I can keep doing this and keep moving up. I am 65 years old and this is a so motivating for me.

I HOPED ON MORE AEROBICS!
I wish I can say that I liked this program but I really don’t. It’s usable and workable. But the exercise section, which is mostly with weights, is to short. And there is a stretching session included that is to long. If I wanted a stretching program I would have bought one.I like Jodi Stolove Exercise Programs but just like some other users of her programs, I can’t stand the plates. If the idea is to help keep yourself cool, I’ll buy that. But I don’t use plates. So far this is my least favorite of her programs. The description doesn’t say anything about a stretching session at all. I will continue to use it, but not the stretching session. I have bought Jodi’s Simply Stretch Program. I prefer it better. All in all, the dancing weight session is the only useful part of this program for me.

I'm so impressed
Absolutely Positively the BEST exercise video for seniors. You can sti - stand - do it fast - do it slow. It's your pace. I was introduced to this video at my primary care health pavilion and I kind of poo-pooed the concept of chair dancing but boy was I wrong. This is a workout that I can do plus it lets you work up a sweat if you let it. I'm so impressed.

This is a great workout for all levels!
I think this is one of her best videos! Lots of cardio and stretching. There’s a lot of opportunities to modify your moves to your level of fitness, from sitting in a chair to rocking out while standing, with paper plates or weights to work your arms.

Amazing WORKOUT!
I have problems with my feet, knees, and shoulders. But I refuse to stop exercising. This dvd has been a blessing to me. It offers the option of sitting or standing. They have various people that do modifications as the teacher instructs. I do get a nice workout-even while in a chair.
