Great smell

I used this to get rid of silverfish from our bathroom. I put a few drops on each corner of the bath mat every time I wash it and they’ve gone! It smells odd in the bottle but I can’t smell it in the bathroom. Very happy.

I originally thought about adding this to the cedar wood blocks that I use in drawers and wardrobes, but I think it's best to use it on potpourri or just burn it on its own. It remains to be seen if it will chase away the moths in general or, what I think is more likely, keep them out of my clothes.

I've bought this to deter moths around the house. It's good value for money and the package arrived quickly.Two observations on using the oil for the first time - it doesn't smell anything like other cedar wood oils I've used: it's quite a sweet, chemically smell, almost like nail varnish remover. If you're looking for that classic cedar smell then this probably isn't the right product for you.And then when sprinkled on a cotton wool pad, the oil is a noticeably yellow colour - see attached for a comparison with a similar but more expensive product (shown left), which is colourless.Hopefully it will do the trick and scare off the moths, anyway.

nice oil that I use as a base oil

I the smell of cedar wood but this one smells awful. Not sure if it’s the type of cedar wood but I can only use this up for cleaning.
