Love Love Love this nib holder. Love the vintage style. It is comfortable to hold for extended writing, is light and beautiful. The only negative is the end piece that actually holds the nib stretched out with use and the nibs have fallen out into the ink. They can be pressed tighter, but loosen up again. With a slightly different design or stronger tip and this would be 5 stars.

I bought this as a decoration, and it's really beautiful and well made. What I didn't expect is that the nib holder is actually quite nice to hold, and the nib writes surprisingly well! It's extremely smooth, no catching, even with a heavy hand. No feathering, holds a decent amount of ink, consistent flow. The metal is pretty thick though, which means there's pretty much no line variation. It really writes more like a fountain pen than a steel nib dip pen.
