NO smoke flavor or taste to the "smoked red chili flakes.
NO smoked flavor or smell - making it an overpriced jar of red chili flakes available from any market.I found similar low reviews for other smoked products - post purchase - or I would not have wasted my money. So I have it a 5 so you won't have to search.

Full Bodied Flavor Without The Bite!
For those of you that like a coarse garlic that you can put in a grinder to get that super fresh garlic taste - this is it. I also recommend the Latent Epicure Grinder Set which is perfect for this. This garlic adds so much flavor to so many foods. I was looking for a garlic that has FULL BODIED FLAVOR without the bite - THIS IS IT - did not cause me any heartburn or indigestion. The Quality went in before the name went on. It took me all this time to find it. Now that I have, this will be my go to garlic. I have literley gone through so many different brands of garlic I thought I would never find this. I highly recommend this product. It is the highest quality product I have found. Great Habanero Flavor and Heat! Sifter is flawed (large holes).
I use this stuff all the time and yet 2 years later the bottle is still half full. A little goes a long way; and adds heat and flavor! The container I received had oddly large holes in the sifter (visualize individual sifter holes large enough for unshelled sunflower seeds to pass through) which could easily over season or ruin anything even if gingerly sprinkled on - making application awkward and very annoying. I expect the heat level but the sifter is completely flawed for the product - otherwise would be 5 stars. Great product!

Meh, unfortunately.
So-so, can update if I find that dissolving it in bit of water or oil [?] improves. Flavor nil at present.
