Q: Received this today very nice but disappointed there was no lock and key with it? Should there be a lock and key with it?

Mine came likewise, with no lock and key.

Q: What are the internal measurements (dimensions) of the large hard shell 30" suitcase? - reason, i want to put another suitcase inside this one.

You could easily put a smaller case inside it. About 2.5 feet high, 20 or so inches wide and a depth big enough to enclose a smaller case.

Q: Is the large case durable and does it roll easily?

Yes, it is both sturdy and durable and large enough for most things you need to pack (I purchased the 96 liter capacity one) It rolls easily because the wheels are really well crafted and can be carried easily when necessary. It really is a good purchase either for short or long haul travel.
