Excellent product
My 16-y-o Jack Russell bitch has recently started becoming incontinent, particularly at night, or when asleep or very relaxed in daytime. The pair of Millie Mats in the consignment fit perfectly on my double bed (where she's always preferred to sleep), but in the daytime do very well as mats in the doorways where she likes to curl up (she was banished from my bed eventually!). She has now been prescribed an anti-incontinence drug.I can't estimate how much she wees each time, but there can be three broadish patches on a mat, and the plastic underside prevents any from getting through. The mats are not thick and look like normal mats on the floor, with a rough underside that prevents doing off on a slippery floor. They wash very well in the machine on a cold programme and dry on the line reasonably quickly (at least in the current hot weather).Pippa actually likes lying on the mats (probably cooler and less prickly than a carpet?), so will be very useful even assuming her medication works.

Great mats; great value; very absorbent and no leaks
I'd been warned about using disposable puppy pads as they just get torn up and potentially eaten by puppies. I eventually chose these reusable pads for 3 reasons; value for money, quality and size choice. I purchased the 4-pack of XL (80x90cm) which offered best ££ value by far. These pads are robust and feel rather firm when you unfold them; we have a rubber backed mat to protect our tiled floor and the little tacky dots on the back of these puppy mats hold them down nicely. Our Labrador puppies have not chewed them at all, except the one we put on the bottom of their crate, but it has withstood their needle-like teeth! They have accidents overnight and it passes through the vet bed and these mats absorb the wetness. When the mat gets wet, you can see the area quite clearly and if left, will be wicked into the mat leaving it slightly damp. We tend to blot up any accidents, which then allows the mat to stay in place for further use throughout the day and you just see a slight patch as a result. (In the photo the patch looks really big, but it is a very small wee which has been spread out within the mat as part of the wicking process.)We also have one in front of the patio door, which blots their feet and stops them tracking in dirt and rain across the floor. (second photo)The mats are easy to wash; I add a small amount of the Dettol wash, with a non-bio soap and wash on a high temperature. The trick with these mats is to spin the life out of them to remove as much moisture as possible to speed up drying. Being Autumn, I usually have to tumble on a low setting unless we get a dry day for being on the line. If I have a couple spare, I can afford to let one dry on a stand in the bathroom but it takes at least a day.All in all I am impressed with these mats; the XXL size we bought will also fit nicely into the boot of the car to protect it when the pups are ready for taking out and then well into adult life. This extends the usefulness of the mats, which makes them excellent value in my opinion. We keep a pack of the throwaway puppy pads in our 'code brown' bag (!) as they are excellent for soaking up spills or accidents when we are out and about.I will definitely buy another 4 pack of these to give us some spares for hot swaps, as puppies are wonderfully unpredictable and ours seem to hate going out for toilet in the rain, so we end up with the inevitable indoor accidents!UPDATE: 29/11/21 - we have purchased another pack and now have enough to circulate whilst washed ones dry in the bathroom. I no longer use a Dettol wash as have seen this could cause irritation to the pups. We now swap out soiled mats immediately, so I wash at 60deg which is fine to clean them well. Pups only have the odd accident now, so this approach works well for us. Again all mats have survived our land sharks 😁

Fantastic for incontinent rabbit
I bought this product after asking if it had any odour to it, for my incontinent rabbit. It has been excellent! It absorbs urine quickly and leaves no smell of it behind. The urine is taken away from the surface and dries quickly, leaving a dry area should my rabbit sit where she urinated (which she seems to do in old age). It washes easily at 30c and I always dry it in the tumble dryer without problems. I have done this several times a week for months now and it is still working excellently. I highly recommend.

Excellent quality
I was so pleased to find these - they are of similar colour to my mats in hall - my old lady’s go to for a quick wee. With these, it isn’t so obvious that I have pee pads down, for Meg.

Don't buy for house rabbits
These are not great for house rabbits - I bought some off Amazon before that were great so I thought these would be too but they're a completely different material and everything just sticks to them! They don't seem to come out the wash clean either. I even used a lint roller to get straw and hay off but it just clings. Complete waste of money but I've passed them on to a dog owner.

Keeps My Carpet Clean
I have an older cat with gastrointestinal issues. She often has accidents on my carpet. I solved the problem by using these mats. When she has an accident, I just pop them in the washers and dryer. They come out as good as new and ready to be used again.

Easy to clean & launder, holding up beautifully!
I originally bought a set of Millie Mats when they were on sale and ended up liking them so much I came back and bought two more.I'm currently nursing my duck, Sweet Potato, back to health after her neck was broken by an otter. No matter how much I love her, having a duck in the house is a huge mess! Over the last two months I've tried several different things to line the dog kennel she lives in, including straw, wood shavings, and old bath towels. I ended up sticking with towels for a while but then I found the Millie Mats and I haven't looked back. For starters, they're big enough to cover almost the entire bottom of the 36" dog kennel she's in. (See pic.) For my purposes it's more convenient to fold it in half. The best thing about these is that they're extremely soft and comfy for my duck to lay on but they're also somehow magically easy to wipe off. You can't potty train a duck due to their physiology and my girl doesn't like her diaper so inevitably she ends up doing a poo in her kennel. The first time she got some on a towel it would have to go into the (very) dirty laundry basket to be sprayed off with the hose and washed. With the Millie Mats I have the option to use a wet paper towel to scrub off the mess and by doing that consistently I can reuse it for half a day then flip it over and use the clean side for the other half of the day before having to wash it.I've laundered the first two mats I got at least five times each now and they still look just like new. My laundry room water heater broke a few months ago so I just wash mine on cold with a non-toxic detergent and they get perfectly clean but the instructions do recommend washing them in hot water with no bleach. The fabric surface, stitching, and bottom are all still in perfect condition. I've attached a picture of the one washed multiple times and the new one I just pulled out of the package and the only way you can tell the difference is by the packaging creases in the new one.I imagine these would be equally as easy to use for potty training puppies & kittens through older dogs or cats who might be starting to lose some control...and everyone in between. We're going to keep using and enjoying their convenience until Miss Sweet Potato recovers and then I'll look forward to having them for all my other pets as they're needed too.

The best mats ever
I just love these mats they make my life so much easier. I have already bought 12 mats. The only drawback is that I can only order a pack of 2 at a time. The reason that I have bought so many is that I always want to have them and have replacements for when my old ones eventually wear out. I have peace of mine that I always have them on the floor even when others are being washed and on the line drying. When you find the best mat out there you never want to not be able to buy them again so I may buy some more to ensure they last the rest of my life.

Comes perfectly clean
I use this to line my rabbits play area and his litter box wood chips and hay get all over it like crazy and once through the washer and dryer and not one single piece of hey or wood chips were on it.
