Looks Like I Made the Right Choice for Ryzen 2700+ and Runs Cool with Wraith
it took me a while to decide on this Motherboard. There's so much information out there and so many conflicting reviews. My head was spinning and I'm computer tech savvy. I finally decided on this board mainly because it was the board i felt least negative about after reading so many reviews. The system I ended up with is as followsAsus ROG Strix x470-F Gaming MotherboardG.SKILL Flare X Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin DDR4 3200 SDRAMRyzen 7 2700X CPUOEM Wraith Cooler that came with the CPUPNY GeForce 1060 GTX 6GB GPUCrucial MX500 1TB SSDThe board arrived in great shape. I did a bread-board test of the motherboard by connecting the power supply, GPU, installing the RAM etc and in the bench it fired right up. Yay!After completing the build in my Corsair case, I tried out Microsoft Simulator FSX. At first the temps were too high. I was maxxing out at 84C. So I took the CPU off, removed the OEM TIM and replaced it with Arctic Silver paste VERY sparingly. Note that AMD had put WAY too much OEM paste on the CPU cooler and it melted and over flowed all over the place. I strongly advise anyone who buys an AMD Ryzen CPU to carefully remove ALL the OEM TIM paste and use your own VERY sparingly. With the CPU reinstalled, the temps were a whopping 20C cooler! Remember that the temps you might see in some temp programs are not the core temp, but the reference temps so you need a good program such as HWInfo64 to get the Die temps.I am completely satisfied with this rig. it runs MS FSX smoothly at all Max settings and stays around 67C MAX temps.I don't really see the need for an aftermarket cooler. 67C Max temps while gaming are far below the critical line. Most of the time while running the Sim the temps are in the mid 50's C. 67 is MAX Peak.If you're confused about all the info, I hope this helps. I felt like somewhat of a pioneer trying to figure out what to get. But the rig I built exceeded all my expectations.Good luck

What i hoped for and not looking back!
I run a Ryzen 3700x - 16GB G.Skill 3600mhz - Asus Strix 2070 - Corsair H115i Pro RGB on Windows 10 Pro .I upgraded to the Strix-F Gaming from the Crosshair Vii Hero (non wifi). My hopes were that 1. I didn't have to reinstall windows 10, just swap mobos and boot up, let the devices detect and get rollin. I did just that, didn't have to reinstall windows, everything was detected no problems and went on as if nothing happened. Note: I did do a fresh install just for my own peace of mind. 2. That my DRAM would be able to run at the timings they are supposed to run at. I was running my 3600mhz ram at 3200mhz with weird timings of 22-22-22-22-(##), could not change anything, latest bios of 2501 x64, it was a no-go on anything higher than 3200. installed my ram in this Strix-F and bam, 3600mhz @ 16-16-16-16-36 no problems. 3. That my Corsair AIO would be detected in iCUE, it was! On the CH7 Hero it would never be detected by the iCUE software, the cooler worked obviously but I had no control over anything, now I have full control which is great. I thought that since I was still plugging the usb cable into the usb 2 internal port that it still wouldn't be detected (researched revealed that plugging the unit into a usb 3 internal port fixed the non detection issue, but I didn't and don't have an extra internal usb 3 header available) But, it works now.Overall I couldn't be happier about this mobo, it got me out of my problems with the CH7 Hero completely. It runs everything cool, it looks amazing as most ASUS boards do. For an x570 board it is right in the middle of the price range, 140$-700$ for new x570 boards...some being badly designed but still offering x570 and some being built with every feature in mind for every scenario. I think what I have found is the perfect point in the x570 offerings.I recommend this board for anyone is spending in this price range and anyone wanting a future proof board at a reasonable price considering other options. I chose this over the MSI MPG x570, something about reading how the build quality wasn't what people expected had me rethink that option, and I am glad I did.

Fantastic MOBO, Especially for new Builders
As a first time builder, the task seemed daunting at first. Once you get started, it becomes much easier, but I have no doubt this particular board made my life a lot easier. It comes with a ton of features: obviously RGB is nice, there's multiple fan headers, addressable RGB header, dedicated AIO header, built in audio (which comes with some fantastic software btw), pre-installed IO shield. Literally, just about everything you could need. The instruction booklet is laid out nicely, it explains what everything is and how best to connect everything. There's an LED to help figure out what's wrong during boot. The BIOs has a noob friendly interface (along with an advanced for those know what they're doing), it offers easy overclocking. Everything has been great so far.My one complaint would be the actual Aura software. I have an MSI GPU, and their software (along with Razers), is so much better when it comes to configuring RGB set-ups. It doesn't connect to as many things as I'd like, and the features are limited. It also looks super dated. Not a huge deal though. It can also be really hard to find all the necessary links to download all the software programs needed to take full advantage of all the features available. They're buried under several menus, and there's also like 5 different programs you have to download. Literally: one for their "sound suite", one just for RGB, one for extreme tuning, one for fan tuning, and finally, a pretty pointless one that gives access to some basic game monitoring capabilities. Why one of these companies can't come out with a single app that features all this, I don't know (MSI is the closest I've seen. It also requires a lot of system resources to have all the programs running at the same time.Oh, and after getting a few Corsair/Thermaltake products, now I can say without a doubt that Asus needs to step their rbg game up, as they don't offer nearly as many effects, and the interface is awful. All that is nitpicking though, as this is still a top of the line board that I got for $140.

Recomendable
