For the money I wasn't expecting much -- had injured myself and needed a temporary walking stick for balance. This one opens easily, closes easily, stays open without collapsing, is sturdy enough to lean on. It looks good too -- nice blue colour. I was surprised when I received an email from the seller even before it was delivered inviting me to contact them if I had any questions or problems. (I didn't.) When closed it fits nicely into the included little bag; open it has a comfortable handle, a strap so you can't drop it, and a rubber tip at the bottom so you can't slip. All in all I'd say this was a very good buy, and highly recommended!

This item is not suitable as a walking stick. It may be acceptable as a light-weight cane. I had ordered it to be used as a walking stick, but was disappointed that it really isn't. If you are looking for a light-weight cane that is easily carried and easily stored, this may work well for you. If you are a large person who needs a sturdy cane, I would not recommend this one

I do wish it telescoped rather than folded. But that said, I find it incredibly useful. I use it at our open off-leash multi-acre dog park. My gait is fine. But my balance can be easily challenged running up pot-holed high grass slopes after dog whose poop observation is medically necessary. I am also shaky near wrestling and speeding dogs. This pole is perfect. It’s very light so I can carry it parallel to my arm when walking, but provides me with rigid support immediately when I need to lean on it. I had first tried my husband’s extra ski pole which works great for his knee disability but it was too heavy and awkward for me to carry with water bottle, supplies bag etc. I’m 83 by the way and dog is a sniffer who must go up and down every slope. Bit of a willful being. So grateful this is allowing me to continue to walk him.

Lightweight and easy to get to if I need it. I don't need it all the time, but having it here within reach is reassuring.

Yes for the price you can't really expect a whole lot. The pros on this product are that it is lightweight and it extends out easily. The cane is somewhat flimily and the handle is small. But for just going out and doing errands it wouldn't be a bad deal. I purchased another came from Amazon that was very sturdy cost a little more and I use it while I'm at work and I'm satisfied with the durability. I don't plan on using a cane for the rest of my life though broke my femur bone back in July of 2020. But it could be anywhere from 1 to 2 years before I totally recover.

Strenuous vacation walking. It's light weight. Folds up nicely for travel. Even fits into my hand bag.

This unit is OK, when you know what to do to make it "right for you"!The shortest length is 33 inches and that might still be too long for some people, especially when you can not stand straight up anymore!The thing you can do is just shorten the length of the bottom part of the cane, and make it shorter by cutting just enough off, to make it almost perfect for you. I many cases, just cutting half of the length off, is sufficient.Keep in mind that you then can absolutely not return it anymore!In the end, a pretty good product for a rather small amount of hard earned money. Light and easy to store when not in use!
