Excellent quality and superbly easy to install, great value for money.
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Bought this dashcam for my daughter's car, just passed her test and I wanted some reassurance for her and us, just in case. Arrived via Amazon 20 hours after ordering, go Prime!Well packed and contains everything needed to install and power, Mirror simply clips over the existing rear view mirror, power cable runs hidden in the headlining and down side trim of the windscreen, invisible once tucked in nicely. Rear camera similarly simple to install and run the cable through headlining to the mirror and plug in, add a splice to the reversing lamp wire and job done. Turn the ignition on.Dash cam has a good on screen menu with many customisable options including adding the vehicle registration number as well as date and time for timestamping on recordings. Front camera records in very high quality 1080, 720 or 480 as you require, rear camera is simultaneously recorded as separate videos are about 480p, not as sharp as front view but perfectly adequate. Putting the car into reverse the reversing view with guidelines is automatically displayed on the 5" screen.Checking the contents of the MicroSD card there are 2 folders found, one for the front camera recording and one the rear, can copy easily onto tablet, phone or computer and viewing the front recordings on large TV screen shows the excellent picture quality that sadly the uploaded and compressed video on the review might not.Fantastic quality at a very competitive price without having to have another camera and wires hanging off the front windscreen. No hesitation in recommending this dashcam to others, best £40 spent in ages.

Excellent concept - see video for dashcam footage
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I've installed other dashcams before and this one was fairly quick and simple to install. You get everything needed in the box, including the handy small crowbar tool. For some reason my pervious 2 dashcams use to interfere with the DAB signal, with this dashcam the DAB signal is fine and no playback issues at all with the radio. You will need to use the cigarette lighter cable, as I thought I would get away with using a USB cable that I had already set up previously, but when using this the dashcam thought it was connecting to a computer and asking which mode to go into and not start recording automatically - so make sure you use the cigarette cable if you want auto recording! Also, remember to peel off the sticky plastic off the camera.Initially I thought the camera positioning on the left hand side of the mirror would be an issue but it turns out you are able to adjust the angle off the camera slightly, so I was able to twist the lens right to give a centre view. As my car already has a rear camera, so I didn't feed the rear camera cable into the reverse light, only placed it in within the car so it can record the rear. The cable for the rear camera provided is more than long enough, I installed the camera in a SUV and still had about a meter of cable to tuck away! I did turn the touch press sound off, as the beeping got annoying after a while.I used a 64gb card in mine and it seems to be working fine. One thing to note is my files on the card kept getting locked and therefore the loop recording stopped once card was full - it turned out I had set the G sensor to high, once put to low, it was fine.I have also attached video from the cameras, you can see the video quality is decent and are able to make out number plates. I'm very impressed with this item.

Great product - if it suits your car...
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this camera to go in my Volvo estate (UK right hand drive). Unfortunately, there are several issues which mean I cannot install it properly in my car.- The car has an electronic dipping rear-view mirror. This is bulkier and wider than many traditional mirrors - so it is very difficult to fit the mirror camera over it.- Because this is a UK model car (Right-hand drive), when mounted on the mirror, the camera is on the left-hand side of the car. Although the camera can be angled slightly to allow for the position of the rearview mirror, when the mirror is adjusted for a proper view of the road, the camera is still pointing too far to the left.- Because the camera effectively replaces the existing mirrir, it stops the automatic dipping mirror from working, and my mirror does not have a lever for "dipping" the mirror at night- Because the car is an estate car, there is no practical way that I could see of mounting the rear camera in the right place to use as a reversing camera or of running the cable from the reversing light to the camera (because the light is on the pillar, but the camera would have to be on the tailgate.I still thought this was a good product so we used it in a different car in the family. The camera fitted over the mirror of this car simply - although it was still necessary to have the camera on the "wrong" side of the mirror. This didn't affect the recording quality too much although the image is slightly tilted to one side.At this point we haven't managed to install the rear camera as that will take a bit more planning and probably require a small hole to be drilled. I intend to update this review if/when we have done that.Overall this is a good product but may not be suitable for all cars.
