Arrived today a day earlier than expected so that was good.Packaging was a little damaged but thankfully no damage to standOver the moon. Its a quality product and well made with all the fixings supplied which are to high standard as well.Comes with 3 pole adaptors to suit various diameter parasols.This is going to look so much tidier on our patio. Much better than 4 paving slabs.Would definitely recommend

Yes, it is expensive considering it is a parasol base. But, you get what you pay for.After buying plastic / iron versions that eventually fade, split or go rusty, we decided to splash out on a good, solid base.The handle makes it easier to manoeuvre. It’s a good weight and our parasol no longer wobbles in the slightest breeze.At this price, it is a considered purchase but it’ll still look like new year after year.I bought a 30cm Forge Tree Hook (see picture) from the garden centre and I use this to hook under the handle and manoeuvre it around. It saves me having to bend down and makes manoeuvring the base easier.

Meets expectations

Not cheap - but reasonably priced given the weight and build quality. This is the 2nd one I have bought (the other is even larger for a much bigger parasol). It is simple, stylish, easy to keep clean and I recommend it.

Unfortunately the base unit for my umbrella really isn't man enough to keep the umbrella up in light winds, I have had to pick my parasol up several times where it has fallen over in very light wind. Such a shame I will now have to find extra weights to add to it.

Don’t generally write reviews but impressed with how it was packaged on delivery and the item itself is very sturdy and looks great. Is very heavy and needed that as on a balcony with wind. The wheels allow you still though to be able to move it around.

Ordered this item to go with a parasol that was ordered and can not pick fault with it. the box had shoulder straps to aid carrying the 25kg weight and assembly was simple. the stand has adapters and adjustments to fit parasols of any thickness and just looks amazing.

This parasol base looks good, has wheels that are not visible, so I was very pleased initially. However after the winter the wheels detached from their housings, making the base difficult to manoeuvre and nullifying the reason i bought it. So I am most disappointed that it didn't even last one year.
