I have order this product on different occasions (2 kayaks). It is perfect. Fit both of my kayaks. I have an 8 foot Pelican and an 8 foot Huron. Pleased with the quality. Both times the covers were being sold at a discount.

My husband and I live in a townhome, with limited storage capability. Occasionally we find ourselves getting crafty with organization and storage.We previously bought a U hook wall mounting kayak hanger (set of 2 - meant to wall mount for 1 kayak). This worked great for our need, but next we needed a way to cover our kayaks to keep birds and other elements out of the interior of our kayaks.FIRST: The polyester material of these covers doesn't give much "stretch" to the canvas like material. If you're looking for something with stretch and bounce this probably isn't it. It does however pull nice and tight to cover the cockpit and the material is intended to keep exterior elements out.SECOND: because it's a polyester material it can be punctured and may deteriorate over many years of wear and tear. We needed something that we could puncture a hole in to hang on our hooks. We also knew we didn't want to spend a lot of we were going to out a hole in it. (lil duct tape solves the problem of early fraying LOL).In all: the material is a polyester, canvas like material, which will work well to keep water and other elements out of your kayak. It's pretty easy to put on and remove. If you're looking for something budget friendly that will do the job this is well worth the cost!

Replaced my old, dried out, now hard to put on fitted cockpit covers. This one fits perfectly and is much easier to install and adjust, but I can't say (yet) how well it holds up over time since I keep the kayaks outside. The price is right too.

Purchased these for our kayaks due to a long drive. I’m so glad we did. They are VERY sturdy. Hold up well. Keep the inside trash and bug free. Easy to take off and on without help. Highly recommend for short or long drives or just to keep the critters out!

This kayak cover turned out to be better than expected. The material is durable and well made. It has 8 hooks and comes with 4 bungee cords to tightly secure it. I left it out in the rain to test it and it prevented any water from getting in. Very happy with the product.

I got this cockpit drape to reduce drag when transporting my kayak and also for storage. I used it once for transporting so far and it really reduced drag and I noticed there was less vibration on my front and back tie-down cords. Score!I added a carabiner in the back because it wasn't quite long enough to reach on my Pelican Clipper 100x. I also tightened the front strap quite a bit in order to keep the cover taut on my cockpit. At least one of the other straps was too tight for long-term storage, so I will probably be getting some bungee cording and making my own strap. But the straps were great as is for transportation.It was very easy to install by myself after the kayak was on my car.The only things I would change would be slightly longer straps to begin with for greater adjustability, and also a larger size, because I had the XL and it just so covers my cockpit. It works but just a few inches wider would be even better.Overall very happy with this purchase and it works great for what I need.

The 60”x29” are not wide enough and a little short for our Pelican kayaks. In the photo the top is a flimsy Pelican brand cover, and the bottom is this cover.

These seem pretty well made. They barely covered the opening on my kayaks, but that means they actually fit well. Not that easy to navigate getting the bungee around the boat by yourself so I recommend two people if possible. Makes installation much easier. I hang them up under cover so wont be able to tell about water resistance but the material seems like it should turn water pretty well. The grommets for the bungees are well made an look like they will be durable. The bungees are pretty narrow so I expect whether they will hold their strength over time will be the big question.

Straight up these are very good quality compared to some other brands. Very easy to adjust the length of bungee cords you simply loosen the knot slide the rope down and tie the knot again. The material of the cover itself isn't cheap and crappy. Very good quality and they stay on extremely well.

First kayak cover that actually fit and was easy to put on after 5 years of fails! Had a downpour or 2 of rain and it stayed put!
