We have bought a few of these toys over the years for our dog, he is OBSESSED with soft toys but he loves to puncture them and remove all the stuffing. At least with the kong rope teddys, to last a bit longer, yes it may not last long as a single piece, but the reviews complaining that their dogs pulled the skin off are a bit unreasonable, the skin material cannot be made chew proof.We police our dog with it a bit if he has been playing with it a while and we catch him chewing it we will take it away or tell him to be gentle just so it last him longer but once he inevitably removes the skin and the squeaker he has the rope for tug of war and he carries the skin around with him for months and months, keeps it in his bed etc. I say its worth it if your dog enjoys a soft toy

Good toy, my dog likes it. No stuffimg amd seems.indestructable. Though be prepared, it looks disappointing at first sight, it is small and wizened. I love that the squeak seems to be very elusive, so not constant squeaking.

I brought this because it has a removable squeaker

I loved this toy . It arrived half an hour ago. Filled with the confidence and experience of the toughness of Konv toys I gave it to my collie X. The hole in the back is where the squeaker was. It was a demolished toy in a matter of minutes and, thankfully, I found the inside of the squeaker before he swallowed anything too injuriousnreding a trip to the vet. It is so disappointing as I also have a box of childrens’ soft toys and most of those have survived my monster’s attentions. He has now destuffed it and I am sad that this has happened and everyone will laugh at me for grieving over a soft toy but there it is That is just the way I am. My dog is chilling now exhausted by his exertions with this toy so for the first time ever , in my many dog owning years I have bought a Kong toy which has been destroyed by my own dog. Sorry, Kong. I cannot recommend this gorgeous but vulnerable toy for a determined and callous Canine like my rescue dog. With regret. I hated writing this review but felt you should know. P SInspire of dismantling every part of the speaker I found all the parts so he did not swallow anything bad but those parts recovered are unlikely to have caused injury.

This lion was very well received by my young retriever and she didn’t want to put it down. Unfortunately within two hours the squeaker had been surgically removed. Swiftly followed by the poor lion’s innards. Not a great buy but she did have fun.

Have had them three months now and needed no repairs. Good quality.

The first Kong toy was so loved it was destroyed in a week. (Dog still carries it around).The second Kong toy is over two months old and is holding up much better. My dog plays rough and obviously loves these rope friends.My friend recommended this brand and now I recommend it too!

We have two Yorkies. One is three years old, and she loves squeaky toys. I bought her a toy elephant that was supposed to be "sturdier" than the usual dog toy. By the end of the day, she had torn off one leg, broke the squeaker inside the elephant's stomach, and bit off part of an ear. Then there was the problem of finding stuffing all over the bedroom. The last straw was catching her chewing a squeaker she had pulled out of the elephant's leg.This bear by Kong is the perfect size for her. First, it does have a squeaker in her belly, which she loves. But instead of stuffing, there is thick rope inside the bear. So when she chews on the bear, there won't be stuffing coming out; instead she can continue to chew on the thick rope. There's no mess with stuffing, and so far, she hasn't ripped off any arms or legs on the bear. Her other toys are a disaster, but the Kong bear has managed to stay intact. These toys truly are sturdy and designed for heavy chewers. For any toy you give your dog, you need to supervise your pet while he or she plays with it. These bears come as a set, which was perfect for us--each Yorkie has her own toy to play with. Highly recommended, especially for dogs who love toys but are heavy chewers and hard on dog toys.

This plush dog toy is very durably made, as most Kong toys are. It's a nice, big size and has a squeaker in the butt (my pup is too small to squeak it yet). The fur doesn't pull out. He loves to bite its' tail, legs and ears. He often sleeps next to it. This moose was a great purchase for my puppy!

Perfect for strong chewers

My marathon chewer dog has not been able to break into this bear in over a week! A record. And all 7 pounds of her loves it. Besides trying to disembowel it, she throws it, plays fetch with it and carries it from bedroom to living room and back regularly. Highly recommend this cute and seemingly indestructible bear.
