Not a lot of adjustment
If you're slim, you may need to customize this or use some form of belt, or it is very noticeable.It has velcro, but it does not run far, so it can be loose if you are too big or thin for it.The armour "plate" itself is accessible if you want to discard the bulky vest.It would certainly stop most knives in spite of it's thinness.
