Old-School Steel Toolbox. 'Nuff Said.
This is an old-school steel toolbox, the kind we thought they didn't make any more. But they do!The only "better" toolbox I have seen is a fancy thing from Japan (and I bought one to see what it's like - it's really nice!). But they don't make them big.Maybe we can make ours in colors other than red? That would be kinda cool.ONLY complaint is that the box it shipped in was close-fitting and there was some shipping damage, but NOT SIGNIFICANT. It's gonna get a lot more abuse than that in regular use.

Sturdy construction
A nice size box. Sturdy construction. Like the double latches for security. Bought this for my son's first tool box. Outfitted him with english and metric wrenches, sockets 1/4" + 3/8", ratchets, adjustable wrenches, a full set of screwdrivers, pliers, hammers, tin snips, electrical cutter / stripper tools, etc. It all fit nicely in the box. The same set of tools would not fit in a smaller 16" box.

Pretty close to what I ordered
Toolbox received is flat top, not hip roof top, and had significant dent to the corner that I hammered out. Functionally, not much difference or disappointment, but frustrating to pay a premium and experience these issues.

Awesome box, strong glass handle thats not plastic, great construction and paint. Great size for little mechanic catch all. Quick ship from RA group. This will last. Put your socket trays in the top.
