Just what I needed for cleaning my fish tanks!
These are a great pair of rubber gloves for working in my fish tanks. I was having some sort of reaction to something in the tank, so I was looking for a durable pair of gloves. They are reasonably thick and tough, yet not to the point of completely losing dexterity. I would not say that they offer much by way of thermal insulation, but I do not think that one would be expecting these gloves to keep one warm. They are lightly lined but not fluffy on the inside so it takes off the rubbery feel but they are not overly thick. the coverage up my arm is great. They cover my sleeve and easily cover well above my elbow. The elastic holds them in place. They are wide enough to comfortably go over a long sleeve t-shirt or thin sweatshirt. Note they do not contain latex which is great, and they hardly have any odor as one might expect from rubber like materials. I do find that the hand size is smallish and while it is okay for what I need, if you have larger hands I would recommend considering going up a size if you do not want a tight fit. So far after a month of use they are holding up to use several times a week and serving the purpose for which I bought them. I expect they would work well as cleaning gloves or for maintenance activities like painting, working in the garage, cleaning the house, etc. for which you want to keep your hands and sleeves clean. I used to work in a chemistry lab and would recommend them for lab use; being nitrile they will provide better protection than the typical disposable gloves but of course be sure to check the safety data sheet for any caustic chemicals you plan to use to be sure. Well worth the money, much better quality than the typical dish washing gloves and safe for those with latex allergies. Overall great product!

Great to work with!
Feb 2025Well here we are and I had to order a new pair today. The right glove got punctured on the thumb in December 2024. The left one survived until this week and it got punctured in the middle finger funnily enough. Not bad at all with the consistent use!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~June 20233 years later and I still work with the same pair of gloves. They have not torn, or stretched. All the letters are still bold enough to read (minimal fading). I have always made sure to wash them(outer part only), pat dry them with a towel and leave them to air dry afterwards. I'll update again when they finally are of no use more.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I waited over a month to write a review. I have worked with them multiple times every week. Now I use them to handle freezing products and I use them underneath the water. The long sleeves are great because I don't have to worry about getting my arms wet. So far no rips, tears, or holes. So pretty sturdy.Surprisingly I found they must be slightly insulated because I do not feel the coldness as I would with my bare hands. And I handle product that is usually starts around 25° and with water that is around 35°. Definitely recommend, be it cleaning around the pond or handling stuff.

Great gloves for aquariums
I bought these to protect my hands from infection (apparently my mother was right--you CAN catch something in there) when cleaning my freshwater aquariums. One is a tall 55gal tank and I have to stick my whole arm in. I am a medium-sized person of about 5'6" and these gloves come nearly to my shoulder and have a strong, but not constrictive elastic band at the top, so the gloves are perfect for keeping my sleeves dry. The nitrile is thin enough to give a reasonable amount of feeling and dexterity. But it's thick enough to be sturdy when knocking against lava rock while scrubbing. They have texture on the fingers/palm for better grab. These feel and wear very similar to those ubiquitous rubber-dipped cotton gardening gloves you find at hardware stores. Sizing seems similar to Atlas Fit Super Grip gardening gloves 12 Pack Atlas Glove 300 Atlas Fit Super Grip Gloves - Medium. I bought a medium-sized set of the 26" gloves and I find they fit perfectly. Large would have been ok, but a bit clumsy for me. Bottom line, these are great and I'll buy more when the time comes to replace them.

Great gloves
Great gloves! My hands were protected and also I can move my hands, free leave, which is important in an aquarium.

Great Product...Horrible Smell!!
These gloves have been great for cleaning out the skimmer baskets in my pool. These are a must buy for anyone that has a pool and hates putting their hands in freezing water to clean out leaves from your skimmer, especially during the winter. I used to put my hand in the freezing cold water to clean out leaves and wondered if there was a glove out there that would allow me to do it without getting my whole arm wet. Plus, there are always spiders on the skimmer basket so it's a bit unnerving when you have to clean it out with your bear hands. I found these on Amazon and after reading the reviews decided to try them. They have been nothing short of amazing. They fit all the way up my arms, which allows me to clean worry free and stay dry. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 is the smell. The smell is absolutely awful. I have to keep them in my garage because they have a strong odor. You will have to wash your arms after you remove them. If they didn't have this smell they would be perfect. They keep your arm and hand dry and they don't feel cheap. I have cleaned the pool many times with them thus far and I have had no issues. Again, just fix the smell and they would be 10 out of 5 stars.
