CamelBakHAWG Hydration Pack with 100oz (3.0L) Mil-Spec Crux Reservoir

I work a very active job that keeps me on the move constantly. The job requires the use of both my hands, and is very physical. This backpack singlehandedly has made my life more efficient and has become my EDC pack. The water bladder is very well thought out, and encourages me to hydrate while working, all while keeping my hands free to work, without having to stop what I'm doing to pick up a bottle, open it, drink, close it, and stow the bottle. The convince has made me more efficient and productive, and better hydrated.The pack itself is very well designed and built to last, inch to inch. There is just enough room to carry enough supplies or equipment for a full days work. Made of a comfortable material, and unlike the reviews, I actually found no issues with the fit.With this bag I know I'm set to work wherever work takes me.All this sounds like no big deal for most. But for me I've not been so excited for a purchase. If you are looking for a solid EDC/Day pack, this is probably the pack for you.Only complaint? Would be nice to have more mounting strap options on the bottom of the pack.

Took the backpack to hike in zion. It worked well, the only complaint is when the bladder is full of water, it has a slightly awkward convex shape on your back that isn't the most comfortable

Big fan of camelbak normally. Would have been 4 stars if not for the price, but I could be off base there. Despite the bag listing it's volume as 20L for cargo it didn't feel like it. The front main pocket zips down and folds past 90 degrees pretty well so you can get what you're after (Keep in mind, everything near the top will fall out.) The main compartment only zips down so far which can make getting things at the bottom difficult. I wish it had an additional pocket on the side for a water bottle (I know, this is comes with a reservoir but still.) It's nice to cinch down when you want to minimize the footprint but just keep in mind that makes having to unclip them every time you want something a pain. Oh, and for you hikers, this bag is feels heavy. Even without water in it. I do love love love, the detachable waste clips, and the clips on the shoulder straps.Mine did come with the mil-spec crux reservoir though I haven't tried it yet.I was able to fit my passport, one small change of clothes, sunglasses, gloves, some chargers, a large power pack, ipad, phone, kneeboard, and a small (slim) lunch bag in it. That was about it.

I would have given 5 stars but the shipping got messed up and was late. Thankfully I got this just in time for my day hike. I needed something not too big and not too small - this bag is just right. It can carry my stove(s), cups utensil, first aid kit a LARGE bag of water plus other supplies. For a day trip picnic in the woods - I cannot think of a better sized bag. I am very impressed.

The quality is great which is expected for a name brand. As for the size of the bag, it barely does the job for my use which is work. I work on planes so I carry a lot of stuff with me including weather gear, snacks, water, rags and tools etc. to help me do my job. It’s holds most but not all of what I need with little to no room to spare. For almost $200 I wish this bag was a little wider and had more pockets within the bag especially the main compartment. Overall, it is a comfortable bag and would be good for day trips or minimal carry situations. Might return to get a bigger one.

Great pack, but I returned this one for the larger motherlode, which I needed. Excellent pack just the same

I love this backpack. It has a ton or space and storage for a smaller bag. You can feel the quality in the materials and build. The water pouch is a perfect fit and you cont even notice it’s there. The Molle in the front is strong and doesn’t stretch.
