Gordon Glass® Chrome Tub Enclosure and Sliding Shower Door Pull Handle for for 3/16" and 1/4" Glass | M6142

The product description says it will fit up to a 1/4" glass door. I was going to return this because it would not easily slide over the glass door edging. It appeared that it would not fit. Upon further "futzing" with it, I applied some grease to the door edge and carefully use a hammer to tap the handle into place. The metal handle gave way enough to allow the handle to slide into place on the glass door. Forget about using the rubber gasket for this glass width; it will never fit "with" the gasket. Without the gasket, it fits so tightly that a gasket is not needed. I also used a screwdriver to try to increase (pry it wider) the width of the handle spacing. I'm not sure if the spacing was actually increased though. In short, I got it on and it's not going anywhere.

There aren't many options on Amazon for a shower door pull. But, I wish I had bought another. Install great. It has not slipped. But, there needs to be a handle on the inside of the door so you can also pull the shower door closed. This handle lets you open the door, but it useless when you are inside the shower to pull the door closed. It's my fault. I should have researched it more... but it's one of those things that you don't know until you know. I'll be tossing this one in the trash as soon as I get one with a handle on both sides of the glass.

I really needed this, but it is such a tight fit that it still isn't on all the way. But it won't come off. I feel it is pretty costly.

Worked great, nice tight fit and no longer need to sneak my fingers around the edge of the glass door.

Very nice pull that worked perfectly for my installation. Installation tip: smear a little dish soap on the rubber before attempting to slip the pull over it. The soap will allow you to reposition if necessary with feeling like you will break the glass.

So far perfect.
