The World of Cyberpunk 2077

This is a great intro into the universe. There is a lot of art in the book but it opts for more art and less screen captures. The most important part I feel is the lore behind the districts and gangs. Going into the verse with an actual idea what is behind it. Rather than being born into the verse with no knowledge in a 20 something gangster. I recommend this for anyone who intends to try and immerse themselves in the verse. I like how they write it in universe and keep composure. There is ample info about guns and cars but they really emphasize importance on Braindance. I am glad I got this on digits and hardcover, I’ll be going over this for the next 25 days with ample enthusiasm.

Super cool to have. Mostly all concept art so dont expect anything super new or true to what you see in the game aside from ads an weapon models

Very nice book details abt work is good

Cool book, big, a lot of good info. The only issue I have is someone dropped the book and smashed the front and back corners on the bottom right. I see other reviewers say the same thing. I wouldn’t have bought this one if I saw it like this in the store. Not worth returning during the long holiday lines.

Cyberpunk 2077 has easily become one of my all time favorite video games, so it’s no surprise that I would hop onto Amazon to see if I could find a book dedicated to the lore. Not only is it decently priced (the back of the book has a price point of $39.99 - Amazon is $10 cheaper) but the quality is phenomenal. Beautiful hardcover with both a glossy and matte finish, thick glossy pages, sturdy binding, high res photos, gorgeous artwork, and a wealth of lore to read about. I would highly recommend this to all Cyberpunk fans.

Honest to god, I don't think I have been this excited since I was a child waiting for Christmas morning. I am seriously considering taking a month away from work just to play this game when it comes out. Anyway, I have the book to catch me up on lore, give me a background of what happened, so I get more out of playing the game. If you are excited about Cyberpunk, like I am, go ahead and pick up this book. Why not, right? It's got lots of pictures and lore. It's kind of heavy, the pages are thick, the book is good quality. This thing isn't going anywhere. It's got a nice, new book smell with it. Read the lore, enjoy the art, get your nerd on, then proudly display it with any other books you might own.

TWOC2077 is not an artbook. While there is a lot of art, its ostensibly a giant wikipedia that canvases the entirety of CP2077's world. You'll learn about its history, its politics, its districts, its inhabitants, its gangs, its social classes, its corporations, etc. It is quite extensive in this regard and, if you play the game, helps put things into perspective for why things are the way they are. Its a great companion piece to the game and don't worry, no game spoilers in here. In terms of the quality of the physical book, its nice. First thought was its pretty heavy (my first lore/art book so my impressions are of that perception) but its because of the materials they use. Pages feel like they're stock paper quality, very thick and not flimsy. Every page is littered with lore and images, it has a distinct visual quality that mirrors that of the game and it retains that quality from beginning to end. If you love CP2077 you'll probably love this book. While it has art, the focus is mainly on the lore and the images help paint a picture of that lore. Highly recommended.

This book features a lot of lore regarding the world of Cyberpunk 2077 which is useful for those who have not played the original tabletop game or who want to know about this specific adaptation of it. The art within is beautiful, although it isn't that focused on the game models/graphics and features mostly concept art.
