Excellent out of warranty service
After about one and a half year of usage one of the burners stopped working. It was out of warranty. After one email, where they asked me to take a video of the problem, Gasland sent me replacement electronics and only charged $13 for shipping. A few days later all the burners were up and running once again. Very simple, very professional, very convenient out of warranty service.

Forget About Searing And Toasting
Do not buy this stove top if you need med/high heat for more than a few minutes. This stove will work fine if you use lower temperatures or even higher temps but not for extended periods. If you want to sear or use higher temps for more than a few minutes, the stove will shut down. At first, I thought I was accidentally bumping the touch controls off, but realized it was turning off on it's own. I also thought the unit was overheating, but checking the burner housing from below was only warm to the touch. Also, right after the problem, if I place a pan of water on a burner, set it at #9, the stove will crank up and boil the water very quickly. This shutting down affects all 4 burners.I emailed Gasland and received a quick reply and apology. Unfortunately, that's all I received. They asked for proof of purchase (late August 2019) and a video description. I made a video with my proof of purchase and received a reply saying the video was too big (22 meg is too big in 2020?) and was told to make it smaller. So I shrunk the video down to 6 meg and never heard back. Sent 2 more emails 2 days later begging for help and no reply. My guess is they recreated my problem and don't know how to fix it. A lot of people may never find this "flaw" unless they need high heat for extended periods, but it is something a stove top should be able to perform. The stove top is great at everything else, but if you want to sear or toast for more than a few minutes, you need to have a portable butane burner handy! So frustrating!!!Perhaps I got a bad unit but I will never know because Gasland won't help me. While $400 isn't a lot of money for a stove top, it is if it won't stay hot when you want it to. I'll see if Amazon will be able to do something. It’s ridiculous to need to keep a portable butane stove handy in the kitchen!Update 9/05/20 Are you kidding?!?! So I'm looking for another induction stovetop and stumbled onto my old review and Gasland's “reply” 3+ months after I posted. "We received your video at last and could not find any error through the video..." First, that's a lie and the video clearly showed the problem. Second, it took 3+ months for my email to be delivered??? This was back in January 2020 so they couldn't blame it on Covid. Since then, the front left burner died and I thought I'd send them an email to frustrate myself. They didn't disappoint. I write that the burner is giving an error code and they reply, " Thank you for your email. The U error means is not the right pan, Since your using a induction cooktop you need to use a metal base pan to avoid getting an U error" Ummm, I know that (I think they mean ferrous/magnetic). I explain that I've been using magnetic pans so they ask for a video. I make sure to shrink the video down to 5 meg since they can't seem to receive any files larger than that. After a few more condescending replies, they talked with their "engineers”. “As per our Engineers the cookware that you need to use for the unit should be the same size of the circle on the glass top. Are you having the same problem if you are using the exact size of pot?" So... you're supposed to use a pot the exact same size as the burner or it might not work? That's news to me. By that logic you can ONLY use a 6.25" or 7.0" pan or it may not work. Forget about that 12" skillet you love because it's not the "exact" same size as the burner! Obviously, they don’t understand the technology or they just want to waste your time. Here's what I've learned from them. They will keep making you jump through hoops until you give up in disgust. Their engineers are morons and know far less than their customers. Their quality control department must be non-existent. Which explains why some people get lucky and others get garbage. I didn't buy this stove for the price. I wanted a much nicer stove from a more reputable manufacturer, but the fitment and amperage spec drove my decision. I will just have to wait until I find another one that fits or cut some granite. Cutting granite with a hair comb would be less frustrating than dealing with Gasbag. Believe the bad reviews or take your chances.Update. 11/30/20 Well, a second burner died so now both of the larger burners are done. I have two small burners remaining until I find another stove. But I'm disconnecting it as I'm afraid it might wind up burning my house down. It seems they spend all their customer service efforts here on Amazon to make it seem like they're helping customers out. But when Amazon isn't looking , they make you jump through hoops until you give up. Why Amazon is allowing them to keep selling is beyond me.

Great cooktop!
My first induction cooktop. I will never go back to an electric cooktop! There was a slight learning curve because you will need to cook on much lower temperatures than with an electric cooktop but it is so worth it! Food cooks quicker with less energy means my home stays cooler during the summer months! Clean up is easy, I always finish up with Weiman glass cooktop cleaner and a lint free cleaning cloth, then buff with a clean cloth. Great value at around $400

Update to previous review
Update to previous review...I am happy to say that after a bit of a wait, a rep from the company did contact me about the issue with the front left burner not working. They requested a short video be emailed to show the problem. I was then asked to open the unit to see if there was a loose wire. After telling them I wasn't comfortable with that (I had it installed by an electrician so didn't even know how) they agreed to send me a replacement. I haven't been able to get the electrician out here to install the new one yet but it is a brand new unit so I don't anticipate any issues. They were very apologetic for the inconvenience and in the midst of a pandemic I guess it very well could be a legitimate reason for the delay. This really is a nice cook top at a good price. My only problem with it is the burner size. I wish there was at least one bigger one. It is only a 30" unit so not sure if these are standard sizes. It heats up quick and very easy to clean. All in all now that this is resolved I am quite satisfied.******************************************************* I was I was happy with the cooktop looks and performance until the front left burner stopped working. I have called customer service 3 times in the past 3 weeks and left a message and have yet to receive a call back. They supposedly have such good customer service but that is clearly NOT the case. I am sure there is a 1 year warranty which is up in Aug. I guess my next call will be to the Better Business Bureau!

Very Happy with It
We like it a lot after getting accustomed to how quickly the induction heats up pots and pans (learned the hard way with burned food in our first couple of weeks). Only complaint is that the burners are sized kind of small. Would be good to have at least one larger element for bigger pots or pans. Certainly a great value for the price! Well made and easy to install too!

Didn’t last long
Purchased this in April of 2020. Initially, I loved it. Induction cooking is great. But by 11/2021, the front left burner wouldnt recognize any pan and won’t heat. Contacted company, unfortunately I’m past the warranty but said they could send me the part to repair it myself. It look a year to receive the part and when I finally got it, it was the wrong one. When I called again to get the correct part, they now say I can’t do anything without a technician coming to service it in person. But they don’t have anyone in our area to do so.I’ve now lost another burner. I’m done. This company is a joke. I’m replacing with a Fridgidaire radiant burner. Don’t waste you’re money on this.

Good induction top with unbeatable price
I've been using this induction cooktop for almost a month. I kind of known what to expect and it lives up to expectations. Induction cooking is amazing, but that's another story. The sensitivity of touch controls on this one is just right. There are cooktops out there with more features if you care to spend 3-5 times more but his one does all that needs to be done.

Starting is not according to the instructions in the book
I really like the stovetop. Only the starting of the stove is not according to the instructions. When I read the instructions to touch the power switch nothing happens. Then I touch the lock and sometimes it starts flashing and sometimes not. Éventually it starts flashing. It might take a while and I have to touch the children lock to start.Above is the part was written by my wife. I will ad that I had to replace our old stovetop and that did fit a 30" wide cutout in a quartz countertop I had to build up the inside of the existing opening to give support to the cooking plate and also had to improvise the front of the opening with tiling to make it work. That was the greatest challenge if the hole will be made after you get the stove the installation is simple and straight forward. I think it would be better for the factory to make the top a touch wider so it will be more useful for a replacement since most existing openings will be 30" and you like to have a bit of an overlap. We are new to the world of induction cooking and are incredibly happy and impressed with the system

We really like this
Had to change my routines as it heats so fast. Half inch of water in a pot boils almost instantly. Once we got used to how it works, very pleasant to use. And the clean up! Just wipe it up. Nothing burns to the cooktop. The only heat in the cooktop itself is what transfers there from the hot pot. Simmering is lovely.

works very well
this cook top was priced right and works very well.... I didn't know at first that induction pots and pans were needed for it to work but all is well now!!
