Aigle Unisex's Parcours 2 Trophee Wellington Boots

Ok so I had tried in vain to work out the difference between the Signature and Trophee Wellingtons. Having ordered the Trophee, based on an incredible £100 or more price difference, I think the difference is they only have a leather lined foot area not a full leather inner as suggested on the Amazon website. I was a little disappointed on arrival that they weren't fully lined with leather (Hence dropping one star initially but I changed it back to 5, as really the wellies are 1st class it's just the Amazon description that is miss leading).These are incredible boots made to exact specifications and for all intents identical to my parcours Iso 2 with the exception of additional cut resistant panels on the outer and the different lining. In the Iso 2 they have a thick neoprene lining which I love but is a bit warm for summer use, hence the need to purchase a 2nd pair. The Trophee boots have a polyester upper inner and full grain leather foot and inner sole lining. The anti fatigue sole is worth every penny. One other benefit over the Iso 2 is that the buckle on the gusset is a proper metal buckle on a leather strap so it won't keep coming undone as it does on the Iso 2 which only has a plastic 'slide through and press' clip and nylon strap.Following advice on other reviews I ordered a size smaller as my size 37 (4) ISO 2 are a little sloppy even with thick socks so I now have a 36 (3.5) in trophee, as in summer I really only wear thin socks anyway. The left is a perfect fit but the right may prove a fraction too tiny! I shall wear around the house a bit to see if they meet my needs or make my toes hurt.So overall they are great boots but only the foot is leather lined and if you want a full leather lining try the signature version.Are they worth the money? Absolutely, if you want a fantastic pair of boots to wear everyday. They will still many last years unlike many other brands that are now really just fashionable labels than practical hard wearing wellies.

Supremely comfortable. Support foot wonderfully. If you wear wellies a lot, ignore the price and get these as foot comfort is everything. If looked after. these will last a long time and are worth every penny.They look wonderful too. I have two pairs of these, and after years of blisters, highly recommend these.
