I've owned several metal fruit baskets in the past, all with the hook for bananas. Finally, I figured out the problem was that I needed something that separated the fruit from the veggies. This basket is perfect for that. Ample size in both baskets and fits under my upper cabinets with comfortable room to spare. BUT the chrome color is like another reviewer pointed out. It's more like a nice grayish taupe spray paint. Yes, it's not a perfect match with my chrome cabinet pulls but it's attractive and close enough. Glad I purchased it.

Do what is meant to do

Holds a ton of fruit without making it unstable! Would definitely recommend.

Not a problem though, usually these things are much smaller.

Wish I had found this years ago... It is very sturdy as I use it for my fruits. Probably will purchase another one
