TOMLYNLaxatone Chicken-Flavor Hairball Remedy Chews for Cats and Kittens, 60ct

The Tomlyn Hairball chewables is so tasty, my cat bugs me to give it to her every morning. It works well as we have no hairball issues from our cat.

Had Tomllyn hairball remedy chews before, cat loved them. They were solid, he would take several bites and finish them. This batch is very dry and crumbly. The bottom of the bag is just dust. Cat tasted one and refused to eat it. Tried cutting one to include in his canned food and it crumbled into dust. He ate the canned food around the dusty stuff. So disappointing.

I like it cause my cat like the chicken flavor. What I don't like the chews crumble so fast.

Our cat can be a finicky eater and doesn't like hard treats. We also suspect he has an allergy to wheat products. So I was interested in this product because it is described as a"soft chew" and appears to be wheat free.I would not classify these treats as "soft" as compared to others products such as Whisker Lickins Tender Moments Salmon Flavor Cat Treats which I consider more traditional "soft" treats. When you press these treats in your hand, they don't "give" much. Still, they are softer than products such as Evo Wild Cravings Turkey/Chicken Cat Treat which is basically hard cat food (which my cat ignored).So I was skeptical that my cat would like these treats. To my surprise, he enjoyed them, though the novelty has worn off a bit.Overall, a solid treat for getting some added nutrition for a thin cat, but the chews might not be soft enough for picky cats.

The packaging looks the same as the previous bag I bought some time ago. But the pieces of food are larger. Judging from the cats' response to this offering compared to the previous product, it is not acceptable. One cat sniffed at it, didn't want to eat it at all. The other cat ate one but acted like it was distasteful and sticky on his teeth.

I love them because they have greatly reduced my cat’s hairball problem.

Tomlyn used to be such a great company for pet needs... I'm surprised at the poor quality of the Chicken-Flavor Hairball Remedy Chews. I attached a photo to show how much "powder" there was compared to actual chews.These aren't "temptations" -- They're EXPENSIVE. At $12.99 for only 0.35 ounces -- and then at least 25 to 30% of that is useless powder? POWDER!And then my cat turned her nose up at it. Can't say that I blame her.

I have ordered these in the past and they were the perfect solution for my cat. However, this past order, even before opening, I could see that there was powder in the bottom of the bottom. The chews basically disintegrate into powder even before giving them to your cat. So, I returned the order and got another one which had the same problem. Since I have ordered these in the past, I know something is off. They used to be chewy. So, either the product is old, or something is wrong with the packaging drying them out too quickly. Don't order until they fix the problem or you and your cat will be disappointed.

3 out of my 4 cats just sniffed the 'treat' then looked up at me and blinked. Totally unimpressed cats! 1 out of 4 polished off the 3 pieces on the floor!!

It is a great way to give your cat Laxatone if they do not like the sticky lubricant in the tube. It also does not make a mess. I am not sure why they do not sell it in the pet stores in Canada.
