The W 3/8" L 9"-13" size was perfect for my 5.5 lbs Chihuahua. The material is soft and comfortable HOWEVER, my dog has chewed through 2 of these in 5 months.

I ordered this color about over a year ago, and it is still in top shape. I got it for my Lhasa-poo terrier mix because he likes to pull, and I felt his other harness was digging into his muscle while this one is much softer and thicker. I originally ordered the brown to bring out his eyes, but the black shipped. It is still good, and I like it better. It blends with his fur. Also, the silver buckles have not changed colors or rusted. I did have to adjust it. I got the small or the x-small. However, it is a perfect fit and makes me feel much better when he gets in his stubborn moods and has to be given an encouraging tug or when I was training him to heel and had to hold him back while he was trying to pull forward. Also, the metal does not heat up in the summer time and burn him or dig into him.

Very well constructed! I wish the chest strap was adjustable and it was a little quicker drying. Best harness I have found!

it gets dingy rather easily. But, it fits nice, is strong, and sturdy.

The harness is soft and would be comfortable, but the XX-small harnesses I ordered were actually too small for the dog I wanted it for. It's my grandsons' dog, a 5-lb. Chihuahua. So, I'm going to have to return them. I love the harnesses, and would exchange them for an X-small size and see if that size would work, but my grandson has decided he'll just stick to the collar he has on her already.

finding the right harness for my english bulldog was very difficult. because they have a very muscular body, we needed to find the right fit for them. i purchased one of these harnesses a few years back for my dog. I love it because of the fact that it can be adjusted perfectly(neck, girth, & body length) for their body type. it also had that soft but sturdy fabric that does not bother him. earlier this year, we adopted another english bulldog puppy and i decided to buy another one of this harnesses. i received this new harness yesterday and it didn't seem to look the same as the old one that we bought. the new harness can only be adjusted in 1 place which is the girth part. I still decided to keep the harness since I was able to adjust the new one to its biggest size and use it on my older dog, and use the old harness on my smaller dog since i can make that one smaller to fit my pup. we used the new harness first time this morning and my dog(who dislikes delivery trucks) nearly got ran over by a UPS truck since the harness strap broke in the middle of our walk.

These are high quality step in harnesses and they run exactly to size according to the specifications. I ordered two for each of my dogs because I could not decide on one color for each of them. They are soft but very sturdy and well made. Your fur-babies will thank you!

Love this I got the harness,collar and leash.really looks great and feels nice.Must be comfy because when I take it out my dog comes to have it on before she would run and hide with other harnesses.

A good harness that works well but not as pictured; only one of the straps is adjustable. I really like it but the picture is misleading.

This product is NOT the same as the photograph. The photograph shows adjustments on both the chest strap and the strap under the legs, however the chest strap does NOT have an adjustment. As the photograph clearly shows an adjustment buckle on the chest strap, I returned it and ordered a new one but the replacement had the same problem. Without this strap it is very unlikely this harness will fit.

The straps are good quality however, it is of no use because there are huge metal fasteners on the sides that cut into my dog’s shoulder when I tried it on. In my opinion, it was unsafe to use.

Not very sturdy. Snapped after only a couple of days. Did not hold up to a 40 lb Border Collie puppy. It snapped and he got out in the road and almost got hit by a car.
