I stepped on a corn flake, now i'm a cereal killer
Warning: This review/rating is based on my feelings, thoughts, likes and dislikes. You should read the book to form your own opinion/thoughts. Read on!Rating: 4.75 Messed Up StarsCover: I like themCliffhanger: Not exactly, we will see cameos of these 3 couples in the next book.[...]So, since i read the first three books already, i decided to review them together. Everyone knows i love CE's Deadly Series and For Me Series, they are the fracking best! One of my favorite TV shows is Criminal Minds, so each of these books is like reading an episode of that show, plus, s.e.x!!LOST, Last Option Search Team, they handle all of those missing persons cold cases, that nobody wants to handle. On the first book, Broken, we get to meet Gabe and "Eve", she lost her memory and wants to find out who she is and what happened to her, so this is bakwards, she believes she is a missing person. Enter Gabe, who immediately sees Eve as his weakness. This story kept me on my toes, first i was "He did it"....then, "No, he did"...then, "*Gasp*, her?!"....then, "wait, who defoc?! did he?"... The culprit ended up being the one i though first, so i wasn't that wrong. Loved it!On the second book, Twisted, we get to meet Dean and Emma, she has a talent to read people, places and situations as if she were a psychic and this talent has cost her everything she hold dear. Dean is looking for a girl gone missing and arrives at the Big Easy, Emma saw that girl and she becomes a key in Dean's investigation. I really liked the plot, though in this house i pretty much figure out who was the bad guy, i didn't stray from my belief throughout the book and i was right. Also on this one we get to meet Jax...come one, say it with me, Jaaaaxxxxxx! Love him!On the third book, Shattered, we get to meet (more) Jax and Sarah, she is part of the LOST team and her father is one sick man. Jax is the leader of a motorcycle gang and he is the definition of bad boy, though underneath has the heart of a good man. I didn't expect who the bad guy was, it literally never crossed my mind, good one! Also, on this one we see a betrayal i didn't expect, i was, "guatdefoc?!!!", so it was another twist that kept me on my toes. And the "humming" almost at the end, that gave me the creeps.I can't wait to get my hands on the next book. And i kept thinking, how cool will be for CE to make a serial killer female. Usually is a guy, but it would be interesting to make it a woman, we are one vicious gender when our heads gets a screw loose. I can only imagine the scenes...*cringes*Anyway, overall, awesome suspense series. Another great addition to my honor shelf. Keep on writing these kind of novels and you have a fan for life! Highly recommended.

Pure Eden Goodness
4.25 You are Not Broken Stars! The best thing about Cynthia Eden is that you never get let down when reading one of her works. You know that it will be romantic and suspenseful and definitely hot! You also know that the suspense and the mystery will always be on the side of completely crazy!Broken starts out fast with the cray-cray and has you holding your breath at the scene of terror presented. Then the mystery starts with a beautiful blonde, Eve, who walks into LOST headquarters looking for someone to be found. She needs Gabe Spencer to see her and hear her. She needs Gabe to "find her." Gabe and his team specialize in the location of lost people...dead or alive. He is skeptical at the story of the lost soul in front of him, but he is also captivated by her beauty and fight. In true Eden fashion, there is undeniable chemistry and tension between Eve and Gabe that should not exist. Like previous books, Gabe is a strong sexy alpha, but Eve...she may not know who she is, but she knows what she wants! I loved her character as she was strong, determined, and willing to put her libido out there. She wanted something to call her own...Gabe didn't stand a chance! But who is this woman? Where did she come from? Is she really a victim? It seems those around her are not safe and no one seems to be legit!Good suspense to the end. Great heat and intimacy. Great action with twists and turns. Perhaps I am getting better at the "who done it" theme as I already knew the "bad" at first encounter! For me that kinda dropped my excitement when it proved to be right...still liked it though! I can tell that this series is going to rock as Gabe's team had some interesting members whose stories I am itching to know!

Another book that there aren't enough stars to rate.. 5 +++++
Originally Reviewed For: Tea and BookOnce again Cynthia Eden shows why she is the undisputed queen of Romantic Suspense. Broken is book 1 in her Lost trilogy and let's just say that she kept me on the edge of my seat from the moment I started. Broken was an intense, edgy, suspenseful, passionate and totally erotic delight.Eve Gray walked into Lost with one request.. Can you find me? Found in a roadside restroom, broken, battered and almost dead, Eve awoke in the hospital alive but unable to remember even the smallest detail of her previous life. But she just might be the latest victim of the serial killer known as The Lady Killer. Only she survived.Ex-SEAL and LOST founder Gabe Spence started Lost to make sure no one was ever completely lost. If someone was missing, Gabe and his team did their best to bring them home. Sometimes, sadly it was just the body but the family at least knew what had happened to their loved one. But when Eve Gray walked into his office, Gabe was the one who was LOST..This book sweltered! Set in partially on the Alabama coast in the Gulf of Mexico, where a storm is coming. This wild, turbulent storm only added to the magic of mystery that Ms. Eden offers us. What Ms. Eden does best is twist the facts into a jumbled mess then breaks them. Shattering perceptions. She's probably giggling as the rug is ripped out from under her characters (and us). What she is, is addicting! Her characters have depth, detailed lives and even with Eve missing who she is, her character all but shines. Darkness may be stalking her, death may be surrounding her but Eve is a beacon of light that destroys the darkness.Watching Eve develop as a person totally different from what she is being told she used to be, just showed a master craftsman..I can not say enough about Broken, it may be her best book yet!Do I recommend this? Heck yeah..Another book that there aren't enough stars to rate.. 5 +++++Just outstanding!Shauni
