I love this sprinkler! For the price and quality it’s an incredible buy. I was skeptical of the reviews at first - so many positive and lower priced than a lot of others with a plethora of issues.Unboxing it wasn’t any better it looked pretty basic no major components. Actually thought it was probably missing parts! Nope. I was wrong. I hooked this thing up to my hose and it worked like a charm! Plenty of sprinkler settings to choose from which was great!!I was trying to grow grass late in the season and has to move fast. This definitely helped get my lawn across the finish line before the snow fell!The fact that it is simple is a testament to its construction and there is less that can go wrong with it as a result! I can actually give testament to its durability. I have a menagerie of wildlife in my backyard including a herd of deer. Well went out 1 morning to turn on my sprinkler and it wasn’t working. No motion. If the hoof prints in the soft wet soil were any indication - the deer were poking around and stepped on the sprinkler!!! They knocked loose the component that causes the sprinkler to oscillate. I thought it was done for. Then I noticed the attachment and just put it back and place and Ta-DA! Back in business! Works perfectly and has been for a month!If you need a quick and easy sprinkler and not looking to spend a lot of money, get this!

I love...luvvv the oscillating sprinklers, but rarely see a unit lasting much beyond one season. Those motors with the "heavy duty nylon gears" fail and so the sprinkler becomes useless. Well I decided to give the old school style oscillator a try and so far so good. This uses an entirely different mechanical means to oscillate and I'm hoping for well beyond a full season from this. I'm hopeful BUT, I admit the cheapy plastic inlet where the hose mates looks like a total liability. I'll give this an update on longevity in the Fall season.UPDATE: Well, the motor worked like a charm all watering season. Heavy usage. But the neck, after the hose connection, failed as I was roughly pulling it into position. It's plastic and it broke. It's always something with products these days, isn't it? The only idea I could come up with for pro-active reinforcement would be a heavy wrap of alien tape around that neck.

Coverage area is easy to change. Works for both small areas and much larger areas

Bought two of these (front and back yard). They work, so... if ya need an inexpensive Sprinkler, then by all means these will do.However, they are light in weight so the water pressure can move them. If you have an incline in your yard, ya may find (like I did) that the Sprinkler will flip over and be upside down.Also, it's hard to find the right setting (at least for me) to fully oscillate for full coverage. Half is easy...but full seems to be just middle with a slight move left and right.Again, it works. If I knee I'd upgrade to a better one (or 2).

This is a very well made sprinkler. It operates smoothly and should last a long time. I have a small back yard and it covers most of it when properly placed. If you want the coverage to be smaller the sprinkler will continue to operate with very low pressure.

This does a nice job of watering yard. I would have loved to take off 1/2 star due to leakage near connection.

I've had these before and they do a good job if you take care of them. I do only normal wear and tear. The direction of the arc of the spray is adjustable with a little plastic wheel. Over time ( a few seasons) the wheel stops holding its setting; maybe the plastic mechanism is wearing down(?). Set it for full arc and might get only a partical arc. Have to reset it..which is very easy; just a click of the wheel. A bit annoying Still a good value despite that qirk.

This item has been a plague of problems right from the start. It is now one year since I bought it, it is going in the garbage. It has been a fight to get it to work properly as the plastic (?) gears don't mesh well and it is difficult to get it to do what it is supposed to do without setting it, turning it on, then running through the wet because it is not doing what it is supposed to. OR, the gears inside simply stop and it sits and pour water into one spot without moving.To much of an irritation to be bothered with.....going in the garbage. You get what you pay for.... BUYER BEWARE!!
