I love these little hoops! I got out of the habit of earrings....I've had these in for 9 months now. Lightweight, hypoallergenic and strong, they don't bother me at all, and stay a closed perfect circle. Yes...they are tricky to open. Force is not the answer. Here are a few tips: The hinge is more visible than the clasp....run your finger over the ring to find the seam for the clasp part, and gently (but firmly!) lift straight up (no twisting) towards the hinge. You have to work at it a little, but it will open. Practice opening and closing a few times before sticking in your piercing. This is not great for new piercings....its tiny and has a curve. It can be done, but better to have a healed hole.That being said...once they're in and snapped down correctly, you have a perfect little almost seamless circle. I have had an ear piercing for 44 years which has gotten temperamental just about every time I've put an earring in it...spinning this little hoop around and cleaning it often, I feel like its in better shape than its ever been.

I was super-excited when I received my earrings. I opened them up, washed them, and then put them in a paper towel to dry them. One broke. Ok, fine, I only need 5 anyway. I managed to get two of them in and closed. Now my earlobe piercings are covered, time to move on to the cartilage. Managed to insert one but couldn't get it to click shut. I tried the other two earrings on the paper towel and was only able to get one to click closed, so I switched them out, knowing that at least one of the piercings, the one that lost its original earring, would have a hoop in it. But no, even the one that I had been able to close previously now refused to latch. So out of 6 hoops, one fell apart before I could even attempt to put it it and three refused to latch at all, making them unusable. I give these one star because at least 2 out of the six are doing their job.

I would mostly give this product a 4.5 but I give it 5 stars because I like the 4 different sizes, they are comfy, are secure, haven’t turned my ears green, and haven’t irritated my ears. I have really sensitive ears but these haven’t caused any inflammation. The only con is that the are a little tricky to snap into place but once they are connected they do not come undone. I haven’t tried taking them out but I would assume that would be kinda tedious as well. Luckily my job allows ear piercings so that’s not a problem for me. Overall, I think it is a good find I mean you get 8 rings with 4 different sizes for a fair price. Plus I’ve been getting so many compliments on them

I bought these just for the small hoops. I needed one for my helix, and these were very affordable. I’ve worn it continuously for the past six months and it hasn’t turned color or irritated my sensitive skin at all. I’ve ordered others in the past that claimed to be 316 only to be disappointed. It’s sturdy and hasn’t come unlatched at all, and once latched, it is a smooth continuous hoop that doesn’t snag if it turns in the piercing.

I have many hinged earrings like these, and honestly these were the worst I've ever had. The hinge was already broken on one of them upon receipt and on others, it broke when I gently opened them. Or if it didn't break entirely, it sat loose so the earring wouldn't fully close or wouldn't stay closed. Plus, they're low quality metal already marred with black so my guess is it you got them to stay in, they're l they'd turn your skin green or discolor themselves even more within days. I'll go back to the Hot Topic kind I've been buying for years.

These are sized as described, Metal seems to be good (just got them yesterday, will update review if they fail later or tarnish)Clips stink. I was able to get all six of the airings clasped once in my ear but I had to practice a few times on one before I put it in my piercing. You just have to get the right angle in a mirror and pull the hoop apart just enough to get the latch to reengage.

I’ve worn these earrings every day for several months straight, through showers, sleeping, skincare, etc, and they have held up perfectly. None of them have ever unintentionally opened or fallen out.

I put one ear ring in today. I have my outer conch pierced. I had to use the size under the large. I’m they’re kind of thick so I had to force it in. I had trouble closing it, but I finally got it (don’t give up). It’s really sturdy and won’t break. I slept in it & it’s the most comfortable ear ring I’ve ever had in. It’s really cute and not too big. I’ll be ordering more & I recommend the product. Especially for the price

I bought this product for my ear lobe piercing, so its not a very hard area to put the clicker. I went to put them in and click them shut... and they snapped... The picture I shared is a clicker that snapped the connecting piece, so the earring now can't properly click shut. This is a very cheap product and not worth the purchase. I can't imagine how difficult it would be to put into a septum piercing... SO DO NOT BUY.

Cheap and flimsy. Seemed thicker than advertised too.Edit: They do have a great return policy.
