The fan was ordered for a Zapperbox M-1 was warm to the touch, I wasn’t sure it would do the job as the fan on high didn’t feel that much air was moving out of the fan to cool the Zapperbox but after about 15 minutes it has cooled the Zapperbox down. This fan has been sitting atop my Internet Hotspot device and it has been running 24-hours-per-day for a few weeks now. -- It never heats up ---It has never failed except in a power outage --I can not even hear it running, it is so quiet ---I have to put my hand above it to feel the air it expels when I want to make sure it is still running --- This is an amazingly high-quality item and it was very economical to purchase and it uses very little electric ---and it keeps my electronic device cool -- I am always going to have one of these on hand and, in fact, I have a spare in my desk drawer just in case ..... but I doubt I am ever going to have to use the spare. I love this little fan....dearly love it!

This is the most powerful usb powered fan I could find for my project to keep cool my Dell Small Factor computer. Anything more powerful required an electric plug connection which I didn’t want. It’s relatively quiet and flexible with configuration to either pull or push air. The fan turns on when I power up the computer and turns off when I power down. It has helped with the other interior case fan to keep my graphics card temperature in the 50’s while playing demanding games.

I ordered this fan to keep my TABLO cool. The TABLO was running very hot. The size of this fan is perfect for my TABLO. And the feet that come with this fan make a good, stable base. It runs very quietly and provides a great amount of airflow! Now my TABLO is cool to the touch.

I’m not sure why people complain about this fan. It’s clear they do not understand what this fan is designed for. It’s not a “blowing wind fan”! It’s designed for a gateway or WiFi modem. A slow and steady push of air to move over the internal components of the device you put on top of of the fan. Example: there’s a chronic overheating problem with XB8 gateway that can cause component failure and even fires. I have put my gateway on top of this fan and the gateway is cool as cucumber since this fan slowly pushes are over the hot components giving time for them to cool and the internal cavity of the gateway to exhaust all the heat.
