Addendum to my intial review...
You get alot for the money here, but I couldnt really tell, upon close inspection, that this is made from leather....it is VERY stiff, and when viewed under a microscope, the texture looked suspiciuous to me, as if some fibrous compositSo i could be wrong about the composition, but the flexibility of it is somewhat of a problem, especially if you wish to use this for Bolo ties. I had to flex it for quite a while until it bent some but Ive also bought similar sized lace for bolos elsewhere, that is definately a higher grade of leather and having more flex. But it looks nice...has a tight braid and is painted cleanly....has a somewhat shoe leather smell, but that could be the paint too..PS...an update to my review: The company did offer me a 15% reduction in my payment for this product, due to the fact that i was not completely satisfied, and that was appreciated. I don't need the refund. They also stressed that this product is indeed, LEATHER. However, my review of the product still stands as is, mainly because it was rather stiff for use with a bolo, even after much flexing of the chord.

looks good, relatively strong
Worked well, will likely buy again.Used it for a strap on a cloth bag. Seems to be holding up when braided, looks good, relatively strong. Recommend buying two for such a project though, since after braiding there wasn't enough for 2 handles.

Color is as stated, also came on a spool and ends secured for no unraveling. Also no smell. I wish I seen PU leather which is a bi product of leather. hope it holds up in bracelet form.

Good deal for the money
I bought these to make my own chin straps for my Stetsons. They would work very well for this project, though I haven't done the work yet. Securely braided, nice and thin and supple.
