The reason I give it five stars...
...even though I haven't finished it yet, is the strength of the writing, and particularly in the first story, "Ragnar Blackmane."I've already read a number of Warhammer 40k books, and the writing here stands out as some of the very best. The story, the character development, and the way those are set before the reader in text are written very well.If I come across anything disappoint, I will amend this review.

Wolves Anthology
Great collection of Space Wolves stories! Provides a nifty sampling of their Universe and the different layers of personnel, animals and equipment that let the Wolves fight.

Great set of short stories
If you like stories of Space Marine chapters, you will love this collection. It is a great addition to the first omnibus. Highly recommended for fans of 40K.

Excellent fun for S.W fans
Excellent content if your a S.W fan. Love the adventures of the sons of Russ. Although I would have chosen a different selection of books as the 3rd one ends on a hard cliff hanger. And despite the naming of the 4th being literally the hunt for Grimnar. Its actually a whole other story mentioned earlier off handedly. So it just hard stops all momentum that it had to restart from 0. It also doesn't help that it was dul for the first 1/3 of the book before actually picking up the speed. Also I know this is minor but boy do the othe loyalists factions come out looking bad. I know this is from the space wolves perspective. But the Dark Angles especially look down right incompetent and the other chapters that they bum into and clash with also don't get the best of showing here. Again I know with context why they would not be looked at favorably but it seems a bit overly exaggerated at times.

Good Book
It is a good book. Enjoyed the lore. It's nice to have all the stories in one place.
