Lightweight and looks cool
The seat is light and looks very cool. It flexes a lot when I sit on it which made me nervous, but it held my weight (170lb). You don't sit on this race seat a lot anyway!

Nobody buys this because it’s comfortable.
It’s a BMX racing seat. It’s light and that’s all that matters. If you need comfort, there are plenty of other choices out there. I’ve seen some reviews by people who don’t understand the difference between a pivotal seat and a railed seat. This is a pivotal seat that needs a special seat post. Do some research before buying this seat.

This is far from a genuine Spyder Saddle! Buyer Beware! It offers no suspension characteristics which a true Spyder saddle is known for.

Shaves a substantial amount of weight
Tioga was careful to shed every unnecessary gram so that this seat is at least half the weight of most pivotals. Even the bolt is hollowed-out aluminum. It's not the most comfortable but that's hardly a concern for bmx riders. It holds your weight just fine on those rare occasions when I want to cruise. I love it.
