Size:10 Ounce (Pack of 1) What is Boba? Boba Tea, also known as Boba or Bubble Tea is a Taiwanese, tea based drink which often contains tapioca, known as Boba, or Tapioca Pearls at the bottom of the cup. These Boba are sucked up through an extra-large straw and are chewy, kind of like a gummy bear. It is unclear exactly when or who invented Boba, but we do know where, Taichung Taiwan sometime in the 1980’s. Most Boba / Bubble tea recipes contain a tea base mixed with fruit or milk. Some popular flavors are: Honeydew Melon, Taro and Matcha Green Tea Latte. The Boba is served most often cold, sometimes hot, and blended like a smoothie or shaken like a cocktail. There are hundreds of variants of the drink, the most popular Boba / Bubble Tea drink is milk tea with tapioca pearls. There are also variations of Boba, mostly with the color being or dark brown. The Boba has a very mild sweet taste. Some shops also add flavored gelatin, also called jellies, to the bottom of the cup. The newest type of Boba are called “popping Boba”, pearl sized beads filled with fruit flavored syrup, that pop when you bite them. Boba shops are popping up all over the world. One Boba drink will set you back about $4.00 on average. Quality will vary from shop to shop, but at Buddha Bubbles Boba, we pride ourselves on not only the highest quality, but also the most amazing taste. So…have a Boba today and smile.

Tastes just like the local shop's almond flavor
Tastes great! It turned out just like almond flavor boba smoothie you can get at the the boba tea shop at my nearby mall. I followed the recipe that comes printed on the bag:- 2 tbsp almond powder-1/2 cup almond milk- 1 cup crushed iceFor the tapioca pearls, I microwaved 1/4 cup of the pearls in a small bowl of water (about 1" over the pearls) for 3 minutes. At just 2 tablespoons of powder needed per smoothie, this bag ought to last a long time and is way more economical than driving to the mall and paying $5 per smoothie.

Almond flavor is just too subtle
I love almond flavor, it's my favorite. And I especially love almond boba drinks. However, this just didn't quite hit the mark on the almond flavoring. And although it really was easy to use, and did taste good, it didn't mix as well as I would have liked. Just a little too many clumps.

Not grainy!
I've bought boba milk tea mix in the past and it can be grainy, especially almond and melon flavours I've found. This one is very smooth and is definitely hitting the spot since all boba places are closed because of the pandemic. Will definitely order in larger bulk next time!

Just okay
Flavor was just ok, not great, and very weak flavor despite adding twice as much powder as recommended.

No boba?
This mix is delicious but I thought boba tea had the little gel bubbles in it? This does not. P

Not Almond Flavored
I'm not sure what the taste is supposed to be but sadly it didn't taste like any of the almond milk tea I've ever had. I didn't even partially finish the drink I made. Would not recommend or purchase again.
