Grossly defective product, grossly defective company
I bought three 4-packs, a dozen, of these Rubbermaid TakeAlongs Twist & Seal Food Storage Containers, 36 months (3 years) ago. I have been buying and using Rubbermaid plastic food storage containers regularly, happily, for 50 years, and still have most of those I’ve ever bought, most of them performing well and still in nearly good-as-new condition after however many years or decades I’ve had them - so I simply presumed that these TakeAlong Twist & Seals would perform similarly well. Whoops, way bad guess on my part!In their favor, these containers were a good, small size for us; they had screw-top, secure, non-leaking lids; and the translucent base was made from a hard plastic that shed food and odors well. And, as Rubbermaid points out, their narrowed, rounded bottoms make them easier to eat out of, and to clean. However they were a nuisance in being very unstable on those narrow bases, so they tend to fall over, and don’t stack well at all.But starting early this year, when these dozen containers were just over 2 years old, their bases started cracking or breaking, with only small, ordinary amounts of force applied. Obviously the hard plastic was suddenly turning brittle. By middle of this year, already half of the dozen bases had failed, and by now probably 8 have failed. So I figured that, as a loyal, decades-long Rubbermaid customer, I would just call Rubbermaid Customer Service and they would just promptly make this small problem right. Whoops, another way bad guess on my part!I asked them please to replace these dozen failed and obviously failing containers with similar-size containers that also had secure, sealing lids but were made of non-brittling plastic. That turned out to mean their newer, higher-end Brilliance product line. They appeared to sell those Brilliance containers mostly in packs of 5; so, trying to be nice, I asked them please to give me just 10 of those (two 5-packs) in replacement for my failing dozen. And eventually they did send the replacements I requested and eventually demanded - except it cost me several dozen phone calls, totaling well over a dozen hours, over several months elapsed time, and over a dozen great big huge lies to me from Rubbermaid CS.I won’t go into all the details, but just give a few examples of the way that Rubbermaid Customer Service lies and stalls and lies to their customers: Whenever a CS rep. there agrees/promises to do something for a customer, like send a replacement for a defective product by a certain date, the company bean-counters first review the promise before the company acts on it; and if the bean-counter doesn’t like the promise for any reason, they simply cancel it, with no notice to anybody affected, either to the company rep., or to the customer. And if whatever company warehouse the replacement order is routed to doesn’t feel like they have sufficient stock to cover the order, they too just cancel the order, again with no notice to anybody. Etc., etc.Like I said, eventually eventually I prevailed, got replacement containers as I wanted. Although in the process Rubbermaid turned me from their happiest, most loyal customer into their most unhappy, fiercest critic. So for this grossly defective Rubbermaid food storage container product, backed up by the company’s grossly defective Customer Service, I give just 1 star, as low as I can go.

They leak
These were the size I was looking for, however, the claim that they don't leak was not accurate for me. I used them for salad dressing and once for milk and they leaked both times. I ended up just throwing them in the trash. Don't waste your money.

Cups break so easily - disappointing
This is the third time I got these - they don't make them the same anymore. The plastic cups break easily. I only use these to pack small snacks for my kids so its easy to twist and turn using little hands. But I find them so expensive (close to $2 a cup) and for that value it is totally not worth it. Every cup has cracks within a month's use.

Just right size, easier to clean shape, easy on/off secure lid
These twist on lids are more secure than the snap on lids, especially for anything with liquid, and easier to get on and off - snap on lids are either a bit of a struggle to pry off, or they aren't as secure, or the inevitable bending that takes place as they are pried off will eventually crack them somewhere (especially if used in the freezer). The screw on/off lids don't have that problem. These are my favorite storage containers, and the 1.2 cup size is a perfect single-serving portion, not too big, not too small. I like the small ridges on the edge of the lid and the cup to grip while turning. And finally, it may seem like a small nuance, but I like that they are a smooth round bowl shape, which is easier for hand washing (I don't have a dish washer) - a quick round swish inside gets it clean, without having to focus on ridges, corners or nooks and crannies, such as the Glad or ZipLoc comparable containers (yes, the ridges where the holding area is molded in are slight, but a careless swish while hand washing can miss food that may have dried on along those ridges and I always feel compelled to run the cloth specifically along every ridge - it's a small thing but a nuisance that adds up when you hand wash everything, and a nice thing to NOT have to do with these perfectly round interiors of the Rubbermaid version).

Not Good Quality
These are a product I have used for years, however the quality has changed. I have had these for 3 months, and two of them have already cracked from normal use. The other set I have, the older style, has lasted for years. Disappointing, and I am outside of my return window. Money down the drain!

Perfect for cupcakes!
These aren't the sturdiest containers, but I just needed something to put cupcakes in. The picture makes it look like the cupcakes barely fit, but mine had a ton of extra vertical space. I could have made jumbo cupcakes and they would have fit without getting icing on the lid.

SUPER BIG FOR THE PRICE! :)
Haven't used or cleaned yet, BUT this is a GREAT PRICE FOR THE SIZE! Please refer to my pics for dimensions and confirmation of this being a 2-pack. If I run into integrity issues, I'll update. Otherwise, assume I'm happy with this purchase!

A sad product from a once proud company
Junk. Rubbermaid would have been ashamed to sell something like this 20 years ago. The plastic is cheap and very thin walked. There is no feeling of quality or solidity and they won't stand the test of time.I plan on buying myself some vintage Rubbermaid containers instead.

Missing lid
The set only came with one lid and you have to pay international postage to send it back. That's what you get to try and save a few dollars.

Great product, have used same product for many years. Was having trouble locating replacements in traditional stores. Looking it up on Amazon and they actually sold this item. Very happy with this purchase!
