Great companion to the Picarillo book on the F-117
Great companion to the Picarillo book on the F-117, but what a confusing disorders process to get to a fighter to succeed the F-15. The process will probably outlive the airplane - unfortunately.

Excellent Work
This is a really excellent book wriiten from engineer's point of view for the development of F-22. Besides providing with plenty of information about the schedule milesotnes, also describes the Air Force's ingenious dicretions to stipulate the requirements for next generation of air dominance fighter. And most of all, points out the Lockheed's advantages in project management and mutual technologies are the keys to the winning of ATF contract. From the appendix, the author demonstrates his capability to depict the complex rules of stealth in such concise but simple ways for reader to understand. Rare and good book.

Excellent job.
As advertised. This is the most comprehensive summary of this program by the men who were involved. Excellent job.

Not bad
Its the most authoritative account of the ATF programme available to the general public, since it was written by one of the evaluators. A frustrating lack of pictures though. Only a few minimal illustrations are included.

Does not cover the aircraft itself
This book is about the development and procurement process of the F-22. The aircraft is not covered, rendering the title a bit misleading.
