This book far, far exceeded what I anticipated and what I expected. Dallas Willard writes in a "patient" manner, giving the reader to take pause and reflect on what is written. Interwoven with the truth of God's Word, this book is one that not only have I marked up and highlighted, but is one I will read at LEAST on more time in 2019. A recommended must for all who recognize we are more than just a physical body and want freed from the anxiety of being chained to ignorance

I am so happy I purchased this book. It’s a very comprehensive, thoughtful, yet gentle approach to how to be a better Christian and how to have a stronger relationship with our heavenly father. Although he covers a lot of subject matter in his writing is fairly detailed, his approach is very digestible and very easy to absorb. Not only did I learn a lot reading this book, but I found it very enjoyable as well. I was looking for something to help further explore my spiritual side and this book was perfect for that. Highly recommend it to others
