If you're not careful, the paint bleeds under the blade

I can't believe I paid $10.17 for this, it leaks under and behind, u have to fully wipe it after every section, and to fully clean it u need to run to the sink every time, where is the convenience here vs the tape. No.. This doesn't perform as advertised

This guard is fairly large and odd shaped. Instead of packaging in a flat box, it was just wrapped in bubble wrap and flimsily materials. As a result, the corner of the shorter surface is bent over. This will make it impossible for me to use it as an edge for painting because it cannot lay flat against the wall. The long edge seems to be fine so I can use that side at least.

It will take a little practice but love the concept

Got this in only four days. As pictured. They came in a big enough box with enough padding. Three came in the same box. Nice when all or most of your order comes in together. Good prices. This is my second one. I bought one several years ago and used it many times. This product is very convenient because it is light and slides in places very well. The only reason I decided to replace my first one is because I did not want to clean it after I used a black oil based paint and it got broke.

I was hoping that this product would be better than it is. I used it multiple times hoping as I really wanted it to.work. I was hoping I could use this instead of taping trim and around windows. Well, when I started, it was working well, but after I moved it down a couple times, I noticed that it doesn't meet the wall perfectly so some drips of paint seep through and this causes little bit of paint on the underside so paint gets smeared. While the idea of this tool is amazing and I wish it would work as well as I'd hoped, it defeats the purpose when I have to follow behind wiping little streaks of pain near trim. I definitely prefer the clean look that paint tape provides, even though it is more work.

Idea is good but the blade should be made of flexible rubber, same as car wipers so it really seals between the surface and blade. Might work better if you are spray painting.
