One week into practicing The Happy Body Virtues and I've already identified an "invisible chain" that has been holding me back – turning a story I had about my family's culture into a tool for growth. The daily practice of reflecting on one virtue for a week at a time has helped me to go deep into the "why" of what I think, feel, believe and to develop a strategy for improving. Thanks J&A!

Right time, right book
This is a book for the happy mind, and it came at the right time for us. When I bought the book, I expected stories, poems, teachings. But surprise! This book doesn't have much text. It gives a virtue and a very precise explanation of what it means. Then the real work on the character starts, day by day. Working with the first virtue unlocked even more suppressed emotions regarding food and recreational activities, making our latest short vacation more enjoyable. Thank you, Aniela and Jerzy! I highly recommend this book for Happy Body practitioners of all levels and for all people who want a practical approach to stoicism.

Got habits of thought to face? This will help.
An excellent, thought-provoking look at the daily reasons why it is worth working toward our goals, and the internal habits of thought that may hinder us. Probably best if purchased with The Happy Body itself, or if you listen to some of Jerzy’s lectures, but valuable as a stand-alone as well.
