Love this parasol. I was specifically looking for a parasol that came with a base and a cover so I would be reassured it would all fit, of course, it all does. It arrived in 2 boxes at the same time. We assembled the parasol indoors before going outside to do the base. We found the pdf instructions were ok except the magnified part but once we realised that this was for the optional lights that we didn’t have then we could progress. It is important that the base is assembled and clicked together at it's final destination. We thought it was easier to fill the sections at the tap but then couldn't interlock them so had to empty them. We had to locate our hose and tap adapter so we could fill it in location. It shouldn’t take long to put together but from receiving the boxes to finally opening up the parasol took us an hour but that's because of our rookie errors. There is no problem with the parasol and base. Just as an aside, the lock is part way up the parasol post but is hidden by the sail so it is worth checking this is all loose before cranking it up and then locking it into place. There is a warning if left in place it’ll cause irretrievable damage so just a head's up for your first time use. It’s a lovely parasol, easy to crank, great coverage but I’m not tall enough to put the cover on but my other half did that.

We bought the empress teal colour and it really is a beautiful colour. The led lights give off a nice glow so you really don’t need any other lighting for a nice atmosphere. We did have a fault with our first umbrella (one of the strip lights was not working) but that was dealt very promptly and replaced asap once we had sent picture proof. I would recommend this umbrella and company without hesitation

Seems solidly enough made, base crossmember fixings seem a little cheap but do the job.Easy enough to put together, multi positioning adjustments to the canopy.Do be aware this is massive and when the bases are filled is not easy to reposition.Happy with it though

Very pleased with this parasol. Teal colour brightens up the garden. Took my other half 10 minutes to assemble. I also purchased some cast iron weights separately as I did not want to mess about filling containers with sand or water.The parasol is of good quality and is excellent value for money.

Item well packed and all items listed correctly , the Cantilever Parasol gives you a large shady area and is sturdy and well built .

We can’t used this in the wind as it swings round, even with play sand and water in the base. Looks lovely when up though

A good quality product. East to set up and operate. Would have preferred the base block to be smaller
