CRAFTSMANPocket Knife, Spring Assisted Opening (CMHT10934)

The media could not be loaded. I needed a new everyday work knife that I can use for a variety of things, I love the classic red “Craftsman look” to it. The plastic is very high quality and dense, it also has a firm and steady rubber grip perfect for handling. The blade is a high quality black painted blade with serrations towards the handle. It opens with a safety lock switch activated by dragging down with your thumb, then pushing the flip switch on the side to open the knife. I was pleasantly surprised but shocked when I opened the package and felt the weight, the quality, and the great opening mechanism. Great buy.

The media could not be loaded. I use this knife all the time and keep it on me for work or just daily use. The lettering may have started fading, but the quality can’t be beat! The blade is still sharp and I haven’t had to sharpen it yet, love how it flips open. Performs really well, I may have to tighten the blade soon, but having used it for over a year and having other blades come loose on me way sooner, this thing was a great buy!

This is a great pocketknife. I really like it. Its a little heavier than the ball bearing version I believe and a little thicker which I like. It just feels good in the hand. It's a little harder to open but I like that it has a lock so it does not accidentally open in my pocket. From what I have read the spring on the locking mechanism should also get easier the more I use it. Overall, I highly recommend.

I've owned a couple of these knives. I've given one away as a gift and I've had the other for probably close to 3 years. The screws don't come loose and the serrated section always cuts rope. This is a better knife for what you pay. I recently bought a replacement in the event that I lose the one that I've been caring for years now and I've given another away as another gift.

OK knife, having to manipulate the switch on the side to unlock it is a pain though.

I'm a Craftsman guy so just about all my tools are Craftsman. I bought this one just for the safety lock as I like to wear my knife on my hip at work. I had a Milwaukee one that would open at the most unexpected times and was getting tired of being poked. When it comes down to opening it, be mindful it does have the safety lock so it will take some getting used to. The sharpness on this thing is unbeatable, the amount I've done to this blade and it is still as sharp as when it was new.

I have owned this for several months and use it every day. Comes with a tight spring load latch that needs to be worked for a month of solid use before it eases up.Very Sharp blade. Thick blade that is tapered on both ends. NOT flimsy but rugged and takes a beating. Comfortable and ergonomic. Great for a daily use all around knife. Wish they made larger blades, but this is 100% a daily use tool.
